Asosiasi FDRP (Forum Diskusi Radio Ponorogo) merupakan asosiasi radio yang ada di Ponorogo. Asosiasi FDRP berdiri pada 1 Mei 2018 yang merupakan wujud keresahan pelaku industri radio di Ponorogo. FDRP lahir karena kesadaran para pengelola radio di Ponorogo bahwa dalam usaha mempertahankan diri di era serba digital ini tidak bisa dilakukan sendirian. Meski dilain sisi mereka berkompetisi namun mereka sadar bahwa industry radio tidak bisa memberikan harapan kehidupan masa depan jika tidak dikelola bersama-sama. Berawal dari pertemuan yang digagas Universitas Darussalam Gontor yang mempertemukan beberapa radio sebagai stakeholder acara kurikulum Prodi Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Darussalam Gontor, berlanjut pada diskusi kebutuhan pendirian asosiasi radio Ponorogo dan pada pertemuan para pengelola radio selanjutnya Asosiasi FDRP terbentuk. Dalam usianya yang masih muda, FDRP berhasil menggandeng beberapa radio di wilayah Ponorogo untuk bergabung. Berikut ini adalah beberapa radio yang tergabung dalam asosiasi radio FDRP : 1) Radio Romansa Ponorogo, 2) Radio Songgolangit Ponorogo, 3) Radio Duta Nusantara dan 4) Radio Suara Gontor. Keempat radio tersebut adalah Lembaga Penyiaran Swasta (LPK) dan diharapkan dalam perkembangannya FDRP dapat juga merangkul radio-radio komunitas yang ada di Ponorogo. Sebagai perkumpulan beberapa radio yang belum genap berusia dua tahun, saat ini kantor FDRP masih menjadi satu dengan kantor radio Romansa FM di jalan Pacar No.12 Ponorogo. Dipilihnya lokasi ini karena pertimbangan bahwa Ketua FDRP adalah Station Manager Romansa FM.Aplikasi Radio Streaming FDRP ini bisa terealisasikan atas program Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat antara dosen dan mahasiswa program studi Ilmu Komunikasi dan Teknik Informatika Universitas Darussalam Gontor, bekerja sama dengan Forum Diskusi Radio Ponorogo.
Semoga program Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dapat bermanfaat dan memberi keberkahan bagi semuanya.
