How to install AFWall+ (Android Firewall +) APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download AFWall+ (Android Firewall +) APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK

3 ★Sometimes has a hard time working, will give me errors, then eventually apply the rules Also, I couldn't find a "launch on phone startup" option, even though it would be very useful? Did I miss it, or is there none?
3 ★Every other version works fine. 3.3.1 doesn't work for me. Can't download apps from anywhere after update. It is stuck on download pending. Doesn't matter whether firewall is aktive or not. After rollback everything works again
1 ★after applying rules, it randomly applys itself in the background as i get a little popup from magisk that it was "granted superuser rights" and it causes me to lose connection in applications with rules for this app. it auto refreshes and I don't understand why! other than that terrible flaw, it's really good.
5 ★Works well, blocks ads and other unnecessary traffic. But it would be useful to include some default options or guide on system services, because it took me a while to figure out all the ambiguous services without which nothing works in android.
1 ★I selected a list of apps to block from internet access but I don't notice any of them really blocked from access. Soon am gonna uninstall.
4 ★Ok after doing some digging it appears that Magisk needs to be set to global mount namespace for SU. after that things started workon several apps that refused to prompt. the app is solid and as good as i remember it from a number of years ago.
5 ★When you turn on firewall... make sure to tick all apps for which you want to use internet... check data,wifi,hotspot for that app... and rest will not be able to use internet... finally got rid off all annoying ads by apps....
5 ★Great app! I've been busy looking for ang tools or tricks to help me restrict MIUI system apps from using my WiFi. Since MIUI 8 released, its built-in firewall no longer let its users to restrict its system apps from using WiFi for no obvious reasons.
2 ★Not working well. I have used old version. Old version can block applications to access internet. But now this current version still have data leakage and apps can showing the adds which is downloaded from internet... Worst... Update and fix the problems..
5 ★Does the job flawlessly. For a security freak who like to control the internet access to apps or to make apps stay offline..This is the BEST app. I'm using this since a year or more this app never upset me. Kudos to the developer.
1 ★I've used this app for awhile. was great, updated, now I have an icon on my phone saying "afwall" is running...but I run it all the time, which means the crappy icon is in my notification tray..ALL THE TIME! we break a good thing dev?
5 ★Great application! Currently still having 2 problems: 1. Log > Notification filter contains only one entry (mDNS) 2. Persistent notification does not disappear when disabling it in settings.
