Description
Use to browse a PIWIGO photo gallery.NOTE: EULA must be accepted on download.
If you like the app, but not the adverts, look for the paid version that is advert free and has progressively more functionality.

Connect to servers running on non-standard http or https ports
Accept invalid (wrong host name) or self signed server certificates if required
server Certificate pinning is supported (verify certs against a local copy)
View images at a resolution optimised for your screen (or select the one you want).
Show and allow zoom into images of any size available on the server
View MP4 videos (others should work too, but I've not tested other formats)
Download images.
Save fully downloaded videos
Optionally exclude videos from slide-shows
Rate images and view average ratings
Upload new images or videos (can be optionally compressed)
Setting and amend permissions, description, and other details of albums and files
Add or alter albums, their permissions, description, etc
Add, view and edit gallery users
Add, view and edit gallery groups
Copy or move images around within the gallery
Select image(s) for upload using other apps and share them with PIWIGO
Special app read-only mode available to prevent any unwanted alterations to the gallery

Support for alternative format (e.g. raw, psd etc) download for items hosted in pwg_format child folder (synchronised sites)

The intention is to enhance the user interface progressively, and one of the users, David Klement, has kindly provided some suggestions for screen layouts going forward which I have started using from version 1.3.95 and will no doubt be taking more ideas from. The proposals are available in full:

Known limitations:
1. Comments are currently unsupported - you can neither see comments nor add them. If this missing feature is important to you - please talk to me.
2. The number of files that can be added to an upload job is limited to 5 in this free version (use the paid version to remove this limit)

How to install Piwigo Client - Basic APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download Piwigo Client - Basic APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
- Tap the APK file you downloaded (delit.piwigoclient-v1.5.0.17-ApkClean.apk)
- Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.

Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

1 ★Application currently crashes while opening a picture and also the tagfeature says it is limited to the paid version despite the fact that thepaid version says that it is identical to the free version but without ads
2 ★The only decent app for piwigo. Still, it crashes a lot an sometimes when it cannot upload a file, it stucks there and needs to be reinstalled.

5 ★Just about the only useful Piwigo Android app out there. Easily browse albums and photos and is actively being updated with new features and the occasional bug. Kudos to the developer! Would be nice if it could scale thumbnail images in a view similar to the bootstrap theme without the frames around them. Also could do without the pink menu button to pull up details. Just have a swipe up feature with a translucent menu button. Otherwise, very functional and look forward to a no advertisement option soon.
3 ★It is great as an upload client but the ui looks as though it was an afterthought and album management is not possible or not intuitive (couldn't find this feature).
2 ★I hate Ads. I hate it when you are not given an opportunity to buy an Ad free version. Will not recommend or use until this changes.
4 ★I love the app, however, to get a 5 from me, I would love to be able to pay for an ad free version. In the middle of showing photos to a client, having a full page ad pop up really sucks.
5 ★Works fantastically. I especially appreciate the developer added support for http basic auth, surprising but fantastic. Lots of regular updates, a very responsive developer.
5 ★Excellent work, makes adding photos to our Piwigo server from phones trivial. Great job, can't wait for the paid, ad free version. Also, could you add a dark theme? One problem, on a Pixel XL on Oreo, gallery thumbnails don't appear and aren't clickable (nothing happens). Since I only use this for uploading, it doesn't affect me, but that is a pretty big bug. If it matters, my server is behind an nginx reverse proxy with SSL.

5 ★Just for the ability to easily see my piwigo gallery is worth it, full version was bought, I only used it for 1 minute before purchase.
