A História da Rádio Sisal FM, começou em novembro de 1999, quando foi criada a APARC-Associação Picuiense Artística e Cultural de Radiodifusão Comunitária, com o objetivo de contribuir com o desenvolvimento artístico, cultural e informativo do nosso Picuí; Depois de 03 anos de muita luta e obstinação dos Membros da Entidade e da comunidade, com destaque para o jovem idealista Picuiense José Onildo de Negreiros, o sonho se tornou realidade, nascia a Rádio Sisal FM em 11 de Novembro de 2002; Seu nome veio da planta do sisal, cultura tradicional no Município de Picuí-Pb, maior produtor do Estado.O slogan da Rádio Sisal desde a sua fundação, foi à imparcialidade e o profissionalismo jornalístico, dando voz e vez a todos, fazendo a população picuiense exercer a sua verdadeira cidadania, sendo esta uma de suas bases para a conquista da credibilidade que detem.
Com apenas 6 anos, é líder de audiência no município de Picuí com 61% de audiência comprovada através de pesquisas realizadas. A Rádio Sisal FM está na vanguarda da evolução do Rádio FM, priorizando as novas tecnologias em radiodifusão e tendências musicais.
Com modernos estúdios na cidade de Picuí, a Rádio Sisal FM é hoje uma emissora totalmente informatizada, transmitindo ao vivo para o mundo através da internet.
