5 ★Works as intended. Nice option to be able to increase sample rate. There wasn't a usual Bluetooth pairing process; I just enabled BT on my Android phone, opened the app, and hit "start". Data started showing up instantly. Please note that this app requires you to own a HoldPeak 866B-APP Digital Anemometer to work... I get the strong impression the first two 1* reviews didn't know that.

1 ★purchased hp-866a how do i pair the device with my samsung 7 ???? In addition the PC based software supplied by Aliexpress along with HP 866B doesnt work . Like all Chinese products also this is a worthless garbage !

2 ★Does not connect to HP-866B. I suspect this was developed for a different model that is equipped with Bluetooth. The HP-866B does not seem to support Bluetooth - like many Chinese products, the sparse documentation associated with that model shows no indication that Bluetooth is supported.
