Description
This Vario contains a full working Attitude Heading Reference System,so the device always knows it's momentary attitude. This enables the integration of vertical accelerations which are then combined with vertical speeds derived from the classical pressure sensor to create an exceptionally fast response time compared to the standard pressure sensor only varios.
Devices need the following sensors to run this app:
- Pressure sensor / Barometer
- Accelerometer
- Magnetometer
- Gyroscope
- GPS
Attention!: Since a paraglider is a pendulum stabilized system,
the accelerations on the pilot during flight only applies in one direction
(downwards), thus the device must not be freely rotated.
It only displays high quality vario output when
attached to a fixpoint like the pilots cockpit!
Otherwise elaborate calibration becomes necessary in order for it to work.
This trial version is limited to 5 minutes of audio output.
