Ứng dụng Uỷ ban Giáo dục Công giáo nhằm mục đích thông tin đến mọi thành phần dân Chúa tại Việt Nam, nhất là giới sinh viên học sinh và những ai hoạt động trong công tác giáo dục, những thông tin và những sinh hoạt liên quan đến lãnh vực giáo dục của Giáo hội Việt Nam.Việc xây dựng ứng dụng này còn nhiều hạn chế, nhất là về nội dung, vì thế, cần sự đóng góp của quý vị. Thiết nghĩ ứng dụng có thể tồn tại và phát triển được hay không tùy thuộc rất lớn vào sự ủng hộ và góp phần của quý vị, nhất là những người làm việc trong lãnh vực giáo dục như Thánh Công Đồng nhắc lại cho con cái Giáo Hội: “Bổn phận phải ủng hộ và trợ giúp các nhật báo công giáo, các tạp chí, các tổ chức phim ảnh, các cơ sở và các chương trình phát thanh, truyền hình, được thực hiện với mục đích chính là để phổ biến và bảo vệ sự thật, và cung cấp nền giáo dục Kitô giáo cho xã hội loài người” (CĐ. Vatican II, Inter Mirifica, số 17).
Giáo Hội Công giáo nhìn nhận giá trị của các phương tiện truyền thông xã hội, đặc biệt là internet, mobile application, chúng mang lại những lợi ích thiết thực cho nhân loại, bồi dưỡng tinh thần cũng như mở rộng và củng cố Nước Thiên Chúa (x. CĐ. Vatican II, Inter Mirifica, số 2). Vì thế, Giáo hội mời gọi tất cả các con cái mình “phải đồng tâm nhất trí để nhanh chóng và nỗ lực tối đa tìm cách sử dụng hữu hiệu những phương tiện truyền thông xã hội vào các việc tông đồ” (CĐ. Vatican II, Inter Mirifica, số 13).
