5 ★3 family members needed photos for the passport. We took photo and downloaded the file, but apparently the lighting wasn't good enough. They reached out to us almost immediately. We sent new photos with improved lighting, and received the files in a few hours. Taking a passport photo costs $17 at local CVS per person, but we spent $17 for all! Totally worth it. Lighting tips: take your photo under white light than yellow.
4 ★whoever is checking the photos manually... There must be multiple people.. because the picture can go through and they'll say there's just one problem such as there needs to be more torso in the photo... so then I will go and recrop the original photo to have more torso and then suddenly the next person will say there's too many shadows on the face except for the first person didn't say that. so if they have a problem with your picture but you think it's correct just re-upload it.
5 ★I highly recommend this app if you need help with getting a professional picture for an ID. The app is easy to use and the customer service is exceptional. I was having problems getting the correct picture for my Student ID. When I contacted the support team, they were very fast with their replies and very helpful and accommodating with my issues. This is a great app with a great team behind it.
5 ★I was kinda nervous using this app at first, but I'm glad I did. Passport photos at walgreens with tax is $16. If you get the premium service for 9.95, it's so worth it. I got my photos and my kids photos within 3 days. Passport agency took them with no problems. I tried literally 20 times to get a good picture, and each time I needed to re-take it, tips were included on how to take a good picture. Love this app!
1 ★Terrible customer support, buyer beware! I ordered photos for an appointment and they never arrived. When i requested a refund i was told i could only get a $3 refund for shipping since i was given a printable template and could print it at any shop. (I wish i had read the other reviews warning about this!) In hindsight, i should have just gone to a local shop in the first place to have them TAKE the photos rather than trusting an app and wasting time and money. I learned the hard way!
5 ★I am IN LOVE with the application. I don't like pictures of me. This allows me to take photos at home (using the guidelines) and end up with something on my passport that I ACTUALLY like. It's a miracle. The customer service agents are also really helpful, knowledgeable and fast. I've used the service 3 times now for various documents and I'll definitely be a repeat customer when anything expires. Long live this service!!
5 ★The photo I took with this app turned out 1000x better, and was actually accepted by the state, than the one I took at Walgreens. Make sure you have really good lighting and a neutral backdrop that doesn't match your clothes/hair. You receive feedback through the app on whether the photo is acceptable which is helpful. Definitely will use this app again when I have to do my passport renewal.
5 ★Great app and customer service. We applied for a French Polynesia Visa. The French have very specific photo requirements. Worked 1st time! Regarding customer service. I mistakenly chose the wrong size. And filed a request to change it. We were pressed for time so I paid again and retook the photo. The second the second photo was taken my original photo was converted and sent. I asked if they could just refund since I paid twice and they did immediately.
2 ★App is really easy to use and got my 2x2 pic within minutes. My only gripe is that in app, it showed two packages with different prices when checking out. I chose the first at 7.95 but I got a notification from PayPal that it was 13.95. Double the price!! Customer support said there was a price change in their system. How ridiculous!!!
5 ★I used this app for a passport ohoto and was told it wasn't good enough so I thought that was that. I was surprised when I was told my passport photo was on its way and tried to cancel. I was pleasantly surprised at what they had been able to do. App is easy to use, best passport photo ever and customer service was great. Make sure you can wait atleast a week if you need an actual photo along with the emailed photo. Ty.
1 ★Useless Edit: to be specific, any time I try to use an image from my gallery, your app takes me back to the previous screen and doesn't let me use it. When I try to use the camera through the app, the photos are grainy and the camera seems to be operating in a ridiculous zoom mode that I can't get out of. Wouldn't be a problem if I could use pictures from the gallery, but like I said, useless. If you're sure it does a great job, you must be blind.
5 ★Going to be honest - the cost threw me a little - but it costs about the same as a passport photo from anyplace in town. The bonus was that there is a real human on the other end who looks at the photo and checks it for accuracy. Totally worth the money. It took several tries but we got it and the new online renewal took my picture the first try.
