1 ★Get SnapSeed instead. EverImaging/Fotor team forced a SUBSCRIPTION for key features without notice. Used for years, supported their ads, but suddenly the app forces an expensive subscription pay wall. During a pandemic? Bad move Fotor team. Don't bother responding with, "oh there are several free features" spin. You took away key functionally that used to be free. Goodbye. EDIT: And of course, you responded with your templated response. You truly don't care about the consumer.
4 ★Tons of filters and editing tools. The filters here are not always top quality but there (they definitely went for quantity) are tons of them. There are extra that you can get by going pro for a monthly subscription, but the app is very good without a subscription. Also, I don't understand why companies want to charge you subscription fees when they don't provide new content or features on a monthly basis.
5 ★Hands down the best photo editing platform I have used to date! TONS of free features (that don't suck!) &, unlike similar apps, this one allows you to preview the pro features before you commit to buying the whole shebang (without having to fork over your credit card #'s!!). It's also very user friendly; laid out cohesively and well organized. The free version also carries very few ads. During the 3 hours I was editing, I saw 3, 10 second ads. All said, it's a great app & I highly recommend it!
2 ★Love the app, or I used to. Then they decided to put a number of features behind a pay wall, which might hadn't been fine if they weren't asking so much. New users might not mind so much since they haven't had access to these features before, but for someone who used it for years and had to put up with advertisements to do so, it's very frustrating to have to deal with features being yanked away. Dirty tactics.
4 ★Okay, I use the free version. I have all the "free" options downloaded for backgrounds, frames, etc. However... the options are pretty limited and basic. The app is pretty good and meets the needs that I have for it. I just have to reuse the same frames/backgrounds over again often. Not much variety.
1 ★I've used Fotor for years, and I was very disgruntled to see many features disappear to force me to buy a subscription. Bad. Fotor, listen: No. You will not get me subscribed to your software, especially after such a move. I could understand if you added many more new features and tried to attract new subscribers, making those new features available only to them. What you've done is just a disrespect to your loyal users. I barely use your app now.
1 ★I first reviewed this in June. At that time I had very little issue with it. However I am changing my review based upon the fact that they have my bank card info and refuse to charge me for the monthly subscription and want me to only pay for the yearly subscription. Which would be fine IF the yearly subscription didn't keep asking me to pay for it after I already have. I still have no option to do some things and it tells me I need the Pro version...WHICH I HAVE.
1 ★Absolutely ridiculous. I've been using this app as my main photo editor for years. They have taken several of the widely used tools and now make you pay for them. Nothing like snatching from the people who've supported you for years. Not cool. Add new tools and charge, fine. Taking away things we've all used for years - messed up. Time to find a new app! There's hundreds....
1 ★DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME with this utterly worthless application. You'd be better off trying any other photo editor. It's technically free but when you start using it most of the features will force a huge watermark on your image unless you pay for the pro version. Then I tried editing one image which the app decided to delete in the middle of editing and make me start from scratch 3 times in a row, wasting over 2 hours, before I gave up and deleted the application forever.
1 ★I tried the "free" trial to fix a blurry photo as advertised. It did not work as advertised so I followed the poor directions within the app to cancel the subscription within one day of downloading. I didn't hear from customer service until 3 days later and was subsequently charged for the app. The customer service responses have been vague and seemed automated. Poor app, worse customer service.
1 ★From Free to Subscription Fee?! I used this app and loved it for such a long time... Now with the update there's not much you can use unless you pay $5/month. With everything happening in the world I'm not going to pay a subscription fee free an app I use a few times a month. I'd understand a 1 time fee like most other editing apps like After light, but this is ridiculous.
2 ★Home -> Edit -> click pic to edit. Once here, the back button skips the edit page and goes home. Instead it should only go one page back to the Edit page AND remember where you were on the Edit page. Also, when you're viewing or editing a pic, you can't just simply move to the next folder in the photo to edit it. The app is not designed to edit multiple images efficiently.
