INSTALLATION:

1) Download the ROCCAT Swarm app.
2) Download, install and start the ROCCAT Swarm driver software on your computer. www.roccat.org/roccat-swarm
3) Ensure computer and mobile device are connected to the same WiFi network.
4) Start the app on your mobile device, then follow the on-screen pairing instructions and voilà – you are good to go.

How to install ROCCAT Swarm APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download ROCCAT Swarm APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
- Tap the APK file you downloaded (org.roccat.swarmapp-v1.04-ApkClean.apk)
- Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.

Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

1 ★Bought a Roccat Kone EMP which says swarm app compatable and cannot get this app working. Followed instructions as far as:- 4) Start the app on your mobile device, then follow the on-screen pairing instructions and voilà – you are good to go. And that's where it all goes wrong, the instructions do not help at all. App will not connect to PC at all. Must allow pc to show connection requests but offers no help or guidance on how to do this. Also had to Google how to install the swarm connect software on my PC as the swarm software again did not help one bit. please sort it out!
1 ★So it doesn't work with the companion windows app. Windows app keeps asking to update the mobile component but never does. I spent 3 hours trying to get this to work, send Roccat a Twitter message asking for help, but there was no response.
1 ★Flat out doesn't work. No pairing request appears on the PC, it just opens the Swarm app. Big shame as it would have been a cool feature.
1 ★Bad pairing requests that fail to provide proper phone info and media keys on app only work sometimes. Take down this app and improve your coding skills before putting it back up. Otherwise great keyboard and mouse tho. Will use media keys on physical board for now.
1 ★Really unprofessional to be marketing an app so heavily only to have it not work. I love my keyboard, but the software, both on my pc and this app are bad ebough i would never recommend it to anyone
1 ★I started the app on my smart phone and I never got a desktop push noticefor any kind of connection. Ive tried this several times. App appears to bestill dead as of June 26th, 2018! This does not boad well for ROCCATproducts.
4 ★Works well for me, only issues is selecting anything, one tap doesn't work to select things. Also when tapping on things like CPU with multiple options it cylces to the end then just says N/A until you leave and come back to that menu area. The reviews made me sceptical that this would work but it does, love the media controls, way better then what I was using before. Launching games and programs is a nice thing. Would love some customization options to change the the colour, of both the app and my keyboard. If this doesn't work for you make sure you have the Swarm software installed and updated and also have the Swarm Connect Module download and installed.
1 ★Have had a krone and a sova for over a year. Never pairs always pending... Newest update "open to all hardware" yea. Not the case. No reply from roccat support ever. typical roccat trash love the hardware but the software is junk.
5 ★Unlike the other reviews, It works on my Sony Xperia Z1C. The app is veryintuitive where you can just see everything at a glance to your phone. Nomore intrusive statistics on your computer screen that affects immersion.You can see the fan speed and temps of both chassis fans and the cpu. Ifind it most useful when you play music and you can directly change thevolume with the app. The response time is very good, I tested the pauseplay button against the Spotify app for music and both respond about thesame time as each other. Good Job!
3 ★Didn't work was stuck on pending. Then found a thread on reddit where you can download the swarm module for the PC and that fixed it.
1 ★Stuck on pairing. There is no option to confirm on windows. Usual terrible unsupported software from Roccat.
