Description
TextPix is a unique gallery app containing all images which have text.It initially scans all the image media on your device to index your text search. The app currently recognizes all the latin languages ( Catalan, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Latin, Norwegian, Polish, Portugese, Romanian, Spanish, Swedish, Tagalog, Turkish ) 100% offline and therefore protects your privacy.
A simple search with any text will reveal any images containing that text on your device. The initial OCR scan takes an amount of time proportional to the number of images in the gallery and is battery intensive( FYI ). Roughly, for 8.5k images ( which is a lot ), it takes ~30 minutes. However, this is a one time process and you can enjoy the app while the scan is in progress as well. Further on, the newer images get updated very quickly, when you open the app.
This free app is also ad-free at this point since we think ads could be intrusive for a gallery app. There is work in progress to release a pro version which will have a lot of additional features for a nominal fee to support the development process.
OnePlus users, please pin your app for scan completion. OnePlus tends to kill the process during the initial indexing.

Download TextPix - Search your gallery APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
