BREVE STORIA di Photofloyd
Photofloyd, originariamente denominata London Studio Agency, nasce nel 2005 a Roma.
La passione e il conseguente approccio dei suoi fondatori al settore fotografico si rifà tuttavia agli anni novanta, quando, appena adolescenti, inseguono il sogno di molti ragazzi di diventare fotografi famosi ed iniziano a seguire corsi di camera oscura e fotografia di base, alimentandone così il desiderio di conoscenza.
Lo studio si alterna ad esperienze lavorative estive nel settore fotografico nei villaggi turistici, in vari eventi e nei matrimoni, che contribuiscono alla formazione professionale e accrescono le capacità relazionali in contesti sociali.
La fortuna avuta di lavorare vicino a professionisti del settore e la tenacia a non abbattersi, anche quando nei primi anni del 2000 devono affrontare il radicale passaggio dall’analogico al digitale, hanno fatto sì che la voglia di fare nuove esperienze aumentasse grazie anche all’unione della fotografia di villaggio con la possibilità di lavorare viaggiando.
Italia, Messico, Cuba, Repubblica Domenicana, Inghilterra, Thailandia, Vietnam, Zanzibar e Madagascar sono alcune delle mete strettamente legate all’esperienza nei villaggi turistici ed alla possibilità di misurarsi personalmente con usi e costumi diversi.
Pur mantenendo un buon rapporto con le agenzie che hanno permesso loro di crescere sul piano professionale e umano, decidono nel 2005 di fondare la loro agenzia e di mettere al servizio dei propri STAFF le loro conoscenze.
Italia, Zanzibar e Madagascar sono le prime mete che hanno concesso di realizzare il loro sogno, fatto di progetti emozionali che intendono alimentare con nuove idee e traguardi da raggiungere.
