Muzei is a live wallpaper that gently refreshes your home screen each day with famous works of art. It also recedes into the background, blurring and dimming artwork to keep your icons and widgets in the spotlight. Simply double touch the wallpaper or open the Muzei app to enjoy and explore the artwork in its full glory.Alternatively, you can choose your favorite photos from your own gallery or other apps to use on your home screen. To keep your wallpaper fresh, Muzei will rotate through your favorite photos every few hours.
Finally, Muzei is developer-friendly. All the code is available at http://code.muzei.co and Muzei even offers a simple API that allows you to build your own wallpaper source. For API details, visit http://api.muzei.co.

5 ★Works fine! if people d9nt know how to use it they should watch tutorials on youtube and not rate the app low stars.
5 ★The app is great, but i have one issue that's really annoying. My setup is using a single home screen, a landscape image (using Reddit extension), and the phone is in portrait mode. Instead of displaying the center of the image, Muzei acts like I have two home screens and shows me the left side instead of the middle. I'm not quite sure how to fix this, but it's super annoying and I just want it to be centered. EDIT: Devs responded, I switched back to Nova Launcher and everything works fine now.
3 ★My Asus Zenphone 4 is running Oreo 8.0. This worked great until the 10/31/18 update, now it doesn't work anymore. I'm not going to keep cleaning the cache and uninstalling and reinstalling every 2-3 days just to hope this will be the time it works. It was good while it lasted. From 5 stars to 3. However, it still works great on my old Samsung Tab4 running KitKat.
5 ★Great app! Been using it for a long time with reddit earthporn. HOWEVER, in the recent version I am unable to figure out how to show pictures from Reddit using the new/optimized API. Clicking "Get more sources" searches the app store for "Muzie", but I can't tell if any of them support the new API as I don't see them in the list of sources once installed. Are we waiting for extension developers to update their apps? Or did I miss something?
2 ★this app was the best wallpaper app until recently. I can't seem to find a way to turn off new wallpaper notifications or set a timer for the wallpaper to change. now, every 15 minutes is a new wallpaper and a notification about it no matter what I do. I still love everything else, but this is annoying enough to uninstall and find a new app.
3 ★I've been using this app for a long time bit lately it's becoming kind of junky. The extensions, like Bing or 500px stopped working a few months ago and for the past 5 days it's been using weird and ugly paintings. Sometimes they use really bright and beautiful works though and I really think they should stick to stuff that people will actually want on their phone for a day.
5 ★Easy to use, a great concept (that the painting becomes your phone's background) and great art choices. I would definitely recommend this app
4 ★I really enjoy the application, I have had it for several years already. However, the list of painters seem to be a little limited, it would be nice to see less well-known painters as well, and perhaps include some African or Latin America ones. I would also really like an option to put specific artwork among some "favourites" folder. Anyway, thank you to the Muzei team :)
4 ★What happened to the option to frequency that pictures would change? I've had this app for years. I'm not loving how it's changed in the past year, where the screen to add/change/select and delete are split In two but it's cool. The features I need still exist. My main issue is the fact that I can't change when the paper will change? I use to be able to tell It every 30 minutes, every hour, every day or so on. Dev reply fixed this! I'm just dumb
5 ★Love having this app on my phone. Probably the best app decision I have ever made. I would like for the paintings to scroll from one side to the other as I scroll through the home screens on my phone, and at one point I had to uninstall and reinstall. But really I am still completely satisfied with this app. You get a very wide rang of art and artists from all over history. I wouldn't mind seeing some sculpture added, but you don't miss it.
4 ★Tis nice. The only complaint I have is I wish it had a way to set the pics for a single screen and center focuses. I only use one screen on the phone so images tend to get streched out too wide or tall to show pages that don't get used so you can't actually see the pic. Other than that it's nice to have changing pics and see new stuff in the background.
5 ★Best wallpaper app ever. Fresh art everyday for free. You can add other sources if you're not digging the featured art they provide. This was a day one app for me when I first got my phone and I've been nothing but happy with it. At one point I have an issue with the art not refreshing but I sent an email to the developer and received a fix in less than 10 minutes. Love everything about this app!
