臺北古城小玩家以AR擴增實境技術，讓使用者在紙本導覽地圖上掃描AR-code，即可認識臺北古城的歷史文化、古蹟建築與美食特色等內容，享受知性又好玩的古城之旅。古城小玩家App必須搭配附有AR-Code的主題導覽地圖使用，其中，主題導覽地圖的規劃、AR-code的設計以及各種可學習又有趣味性的導覽內容，都是由臺北市立大學附設實驗國民小學師生共同在課程中完成設計與創作，希望能透過這個創作，為臺北市的深度觀光盡一份心力。
古城小玩家App以點觸操作，導覽遊戲內容包含：
●AR換裝體驗：讓玩家可以透過AR擴增實境技術，穿著日本和服或是清朝服飾，和臺北城的特色古蹟拍照留念。
●3D模型：重現消失的西門，讓玩家可以360度自由移動，觀察古代城門的造型變化。
●3D動畫：模擬真實情境的3D動畫，讓玩家認識臺北古城城牆與城門特殊的建造方式。
●古城卡拉OK：好聽的古城之歌，唱完就能認識古城歷史。
●古城趣味遊戲：好玩的小遊戲，讓玩家成為古城小達人
●古城知識王：透過解謎挑戰讓玩家成為古城知識王。
