2 ★I have been playing for almost 2 years (669 days to be exact) and I loved it for the first year! Since then the challenges have been getting harder, the events almost monthly, and it's becoming more of a chore to play than a pleasure. The most recent update sees the happiness scale massively overhauled so that you have to play almost constantly to keep it high (which raises your chances of better rewards). It really feels like the game has morphed and become just a money grab for the company.
3 ★While I'm a Disney girl,and I love this game,there are things I don't like. Freezing,the difficulty in getting things to get a special character only to get so far and not get them. Getting such a small reward when you don't get the character. I'm seriously considering deleting the app. I've been trying to update for over an hour,and getting nowhere. Please fix the bugs
2 ★I liked this game to begin with and played it for months reaching level 20+. Apparently though, you should ALWAYS check that you're connected to Facebook and/or Google before closing the game... Don't just assume you're still connected just because you were before. Otherwise when it crashes and resets to level one you can't recover your progress.
5 ★I love this game. It's an easy, slow-paced idle game with great graphics. If you like to progress quickly in video games, this isn't the game for you. If your kid is playing put a password protection on purchases. In true Disney fashion, there are dozens of super cool things to buy in every chapter of the game. Edit: I see other reviews about crashing. I've never had a problem with the game. Even on my old cheap phone the game worked great on wifi.
1 ★I started playing this game in early 2020 and since then the quality of the game has cratered at high speed. You used to be able to do just fine being free to play or paying just a little but recently it's been insane. Most recent event had four characters, one free, one premium ($10), one on the paid season pass ($20) and one with impossible drop odds but for a $20 bundle you could still get him. Gameloft are bleeding this game dry before closing it for the new Disney game they have coming out.
3 ★Fun game but lot of upper level items are pricy and getting later characters takes a long time. Event characters shouldn't have rare or higher items to get and level them up as they are limited time only. And rarer items shouldnt take hours to maybe get. (Especially for events) placing items is a pain as most areas are small and oddly shaped preventing me from placing near the sides or edges. My suggestions: 1. Make event characters easier to obtain (no rare epic items needed that take 4+ hours to only maybe get 2. Better placement function for building. Allow players to place closer to the sides and have more room to place items (rather than only 2 buildings for one unlock area)
1 ★The game sounds very appealing and checks all the boxes for my desire to collect all things Disney, but does so in a dastardly way. The game requires constant play and excessive spending of money to even attempt to complete offered collections. Do yourself a favor and steer clear for now as greed seems to be the driving factor of this production. I am a fairly new player and even in the month I have been playing they have made some terrible design decisions. Disney's Microtransaction Kingdom
4 ★It's a really cute game. Graphics are good Although with the latest updates certain things changed. Like no character voices anymore, small things but definitely missed a ton. You can play free, but its very difficult to progress,(characters/attractions) without spending money. But it is possible. And a couple of times my data was erased and I had to restart from the very beginning...other than those things I did enjoy playing the game very much.
3 ★I have played this game extensively for a long time and seen many changes. Many of these have made the game less enjoyable, while adding more and more pay to play options which, additionally and more problematic, require more and more time spent to get rewards in the form of characters and upgrades. It's still a decently good game overall, just, has now seen yet another new pay to play update, which has added yet more obstacles to make it even more time consuming.
1 ★Used to be fun, not so much anymore.. Events and storyline used to be fun, moderately challenging, and well thought out. Now everything is downright awful. Recent events have been straight up impossible to complete without paying, even after buying everything offered during the events, I almost wasn't able to complete them. All of their recent feature updates (including token rebalancing and the new happiness system) are garbage. I'm so close to quitting.. if only I hadn't invested so much..
2 ★The game is really cute and sometimes fun but it's very pay to win. I can't even do the events because they're set up in a way where you have to pay real money to do them. Also, the ads really obtrusive. Nothing annoys me more than collecting things and suddenly having an ad shoving itself in. The game is a space hog. It's well into the gigabyte range.
4 ★I love this game. Been playing for over 4 years. The graphics and attention to detail are amazing. Gameloft/DMK also listens to the feedback provided by players and makes changes based on suggestions. Edited: the last several updates have been more of a money grab. They have been challenging despite having all the characters needed. Also...need more land!
