eTide HDF: tides app and widget with tide charts for the whole world.Tide times for over 10,000 tidal stations in the US, UK, Canada, etc with forecasts for several months.
The app saves the last 50 tide charts offline, so you can work without internet.
The widgets are resizable from 1x1 to 5x5 and can be displayed as both chart and a table. They are automatically updated to reflect the current day. Tide station data used in the widget is available offline.
The tide app follows the current location and shows the tides near me.
The tide graph can be stretched and squeezed by gestures. Swipe left and right to get ocean tides prediction with minute accuracy for the next few days.
There is a horizontal line on the graph. The intersection of the horizontal line and the graph shows the time it takes to launch and retrieve the boat. Move the horizontal line up and down to change the depth you want. The app stores the depth of the line for each port.
eTide HDF supports local, telephone and GMT time. The heights are available in feet, inches, meters, and centimeters.
The distance measurement tool displays the distance between two points in miles, kilometers and nautical miles.
Both the app and widgets have options to change the colors and transparency of charts and tables. Widgets displays each station with its own color. App supports day and night themes. It is possible to increase and decrease the size of the font to make it easier to see numbers or to see more data.
The times of sunrise, sunset, moonrise and moonset are shown in a table and a diagram. You can turn them on and off. The tooltip shows data for each station directly on the map when you hover over it.
You can save or share both tables and graphs by email or messenger to your contacts.
As the tides data published in eTide HDF is not subject to use on the voyage, please do not use it for navigation.
