A. They are supported by Storage Access Framework.
see Preferences>File>”Use Android's standard File Picker" and check it.
Q. I can't find my file in file browser.
A. Please check off "Text File Only" in side menu.
Q. I bought PRO-KEY, but couldn't activate.
A. Try following...
Make sure that your device is connected to the internet and logged into Google.
Confirm that PRO-KEY is installed in System Settings.
Click Menu - Preferences - Activate PRO-KEY.
reboot the device and start Jota+.
uninstall and re-install Jota+ or PRO-KEY.
- Some devices have Background-Task-Killer added by OEM vendors.
That kind of feature may break inter appllication communications.
Please set Jota+ and PRO-KEY to permission list.
- If you have troubles with the activation, please send an email to the developer.
Q. How to hide Floating Action Buttons.
A. See Preferences > Floating Button. Then select 'no-assign'.

Turn off it, then select a folder for in-app file picker.
The Root folder nor Download folder can't be selected.
To create new folder and select it is recommended.
Then you can use in-app file picker.

2 ★Can't write to external storage. I realize this is a limitation of Android now, but many apps work around it and are able to do so.
5 ★I have a lot of text files on my Windows PC that I wanted to have access to from my Samsung cell phone. The Jota+ app works perfectly for me, and integrates nicely with DropBox.
1 ★Coming from the Old Jota that had a Hideable Titlebar and not a useless duplicate Top Toolbar, but would erase your Text & the backup. I wish for the following also Upvote this Review - Hideable Title Bar, a Pull 2 different Toolbar & 2 different Menus from the Edge (Vertical Up/Down Toolbar, Horizontal Left/Right Menu) or place the Menu Key in the NavBar like Kairosoft's Dungeon Village - Allow Overlap Action Keys on Toolbar (In Toolbar Edit > have 2 Columns (Left= Tap Key & Rigth =Hold Key) > e.g. Add Undo Key > Add Redo > Move Redo to Undo's right Column > Undo & Redo are 1 Key > When I tap Undo =Undo, when I hold Undo =Redo) - Fixed Phase could also be Clipboard - Multiple Autobackup files - Search/Replace within Highlighted area
2 ★Deteriorated in recent years. Can no longer save a simple text file, and has become over-run with ads
5 ★Very good app, simple, very efficient, no ads, no disappointment. I recommend it.
2 ★An app with no support is useless. Unfortunately that's Jota+. Look elsewhere, there are options that are just as good and the developer will respond. For context, I have tried several times and have waited months.
3 ★As its predecessor Jota, crash/hang after loading text file with 92KB+ in size. Loading that text file also slow.
