PlantScan é um jogo que consiste na leitura de QR Codes pela cidade, estes que estão fixados em árvores. Com o fornecimento de dicas, seja por fotos ou textos, o usuário deve encontrar a árvore correspondente a dica para a obtenção de pontos e assim conhecer um pouco mais sobre as vegetações da sua região.No aplicativo haverá dicas para o usuário encontrar a planta correspondente as informações. Durante essa procura, o jogador usufrui da possibilidade de aprender sobre a flora regional num momento de integração com ambientes externos.
Desenvolvido por alunas do IFSP - Campus Salto, consiste em uma plataforma que une a tecnologia e o meio ambiente, isso é feito de forma divertida e clara, para que desta forma seja acessível, além de ser facilmente desfrutado pelo usuário. Uma de suas principais propostas é a utilização da tecnologia QR Codes, pela qual consegue-se de maneira eficiente informações específicas e pré-determinadas. Entretanto, o grande foco do trabalho é fazer com que a sociedade se estabeleça de forma natural com o meio ambiente, a partir da ciência.
