Description
Learn with National Parks is a free tool for students, teachers and parents, using the United States National Parks Service as the contextual environment for learning. The National Park Service has provided open source API’s and other data that allow students to learn through using professionally developed lesson plans, seeing the many images available, and listening to various interesting sounds of nature recorded at the parks. It is also intended to encourage users to explore parks and points of interest through Google maps. The lesson plans are developed according to DOE standards and target various grade levels from early elementary through twelfth grade. Sort and save your favorites!
Thousands of national park images are provided by Flickr. Browse, read comments by the photographers, and share.
The sound gallery is a sampling of the collection of sounds curated by the National Park Service. Explore the various sounds. Hopefully each sound and its description can inspire teachers, parents and kids to have a discussion about them.
The maps activity shows you the US National Parks as well as your current location. Zoom in to see clickable points of interest. Drop your own marker with a long press. Click on each marker or point of interest to see an info window - then click on the info window to see a panorama or street view, if Google has made it available.
There is a companion widget for this app. This is a stack of rotating images from the Flickr photo stream. Enjoy viewing the amazing national park images directly from your home screen!
You must be connected to the internet to properly use this app.

Questions & Answers
Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.
