Download Skritter: Write Chinese APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

3 ★The web version is great. The app is far less user friendly which is a shame because skritter is such a powerful learning tool. You cant easily study specific lists with the app like you can on the website. I study traditional characters and can't easily block or correct the simplified characters that come up from time to time. I wish this app received a much overdue update.
2 ★Incredibly expensive. Cannot recommend. I don't understand the subscription model, rather than one-time purchase. Seems very greedy to me. For an equivalent in Japanese, Kanji Study is a much more user-friendly app for only a fraction of the price. Skritter is overall good, but user experience isn't the best (UI, clunkiness, limited customization...). Price makes it an absolute no-go.
5 ★The best app in the market to learn Chinese characters (and expand your knowledge of vocabulary and tones). Definitely worth the price! I'm into HSK5 after 1 year of learning from scratch and it would have taken me twice or three times as long without it. I'm using the app mostly in public transportation (usually 2 hours a day), and when i get free time. Thanks for having created it! (I was using the older version until it was updated recently, I'm getting used to this new one which seems good). PS: I'm fluent in English but you should definitely translate it to expand your market (I saw most of the definitions are already in french for example)
5 ★Can't imagine learning characters another way. On 1300 unique characters and 2200 words now after about a year of studying (but I knew some before I started). Still need to read graded readers etc., to learn proper reading skills, but this app gives a great base knowledge of mass characters and 2-4 character words, in my experience. Combines well with known textbooks, HSK etc. My tip: turn on raw squigs once you get more fluent with stroke order. I'm not a fan of stroke snapping.
5 ★This is a great app which genuinely makes practising Chinese characters fun. But I have one big gripe. Why am I unable to turn on practice reminder notification? Most language learning apps spam you with reminders, but for this one app I actually want reminders for, it seems to be impossible to turn them on. I've now lost several long learning streaks which could have been saved with a reminder notification.
5 ★I have been using this app for over a month now, just after finishing my second Chinese course. It seemed unnecessary and a bit of a mission impossible to learn character writing. I was wrong, learning characters boosts my word consolidation. And Skritter makes the process less painful with an SRS that suits my word forgetting rate. Also, the developers were very responsive when I needed help with a discount code that was not working. Although the app is pricy, I think you get a lot.
5 ★Great work, love the app, initially I found it hard to keep up with my character reviews. But i learned the hard way that clearing your review queue before adding new words is the best way to go. I recommend this app to any serious learners of chinese language to supplement it with their formal studies. Of course a combination of tools are required to improve your language. But I would highly recommend this tool to anyone who struggles with tones, reading and writing as part of formal studies.
5 ★I've tried alot of Chinese writing apps over the past few weeks and this one by far the best. I've only been testing my self on the radicals so far and I love having the option to modify wether to test yourself on writing, tone or definition and choose the size of the test. It's worth taking the time to figure these functions out. They're pretty straight forward

5 ★I was absolutely mortified by character 汉字 learning until i got Skritter! This app is now literally part of my daily routine and has a very flexible experience so it never gets tedious. Yes, the monthly subscription seems quite high at first, but ultimately serves as a good way to keep you commited (if you intend to get value for money.) __________ Would love to get a UX update at some point though. Thanks for making the character learning experience more intuitive and enjoyable! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
4 ★Great SRS app. The prebuilt decks and the deck building system make this stand above a program like Anki. I especially like that i can make/use a bunch of decks and if there are double ups of words, i only have 1 copy of it come up for study. The known word list is also great for exporting. However, skritter does not have as much data analytics as Anki. I would like to see a forcast for reviews. I hope to see more features in the furture as it's subscription based and not cheap.
5 ★I have been learning languages consistently for the last 7 years and for Mandarin, Skritter has blown me away with the level of detail this app has. Incredible
