5 ★I've been looking for a file manager that provides functionality (such as extracting non-zip archives) AND has a user interface that doesn't look ugly AND doesn't have any ads. Glad to say that this app fulfills all three. Excellent!

5 ★This is my favorite file manager app. As suggested by the name, it has options for both Material Design and Material Design 2, both of which look great and aren't just slapped together. It has access to root files if needed and everything works well with no ads. It even includes apps to open pretty much any file. Also, it's open source.

1 ★I could not believe I lost thousand of files that can't be recovered because of this app. If you're familiar with moving folder with same name (A/B to C/B), by default it'll automatically merge anything inside the destination with the new ones excluding duplicate files. But not this app, it'll overwrite the destination folder with the new contents of the new folder only. Thank you so much for deleting my files!

5 ★Works well! Can't complain. EDIT FOR DEV: So, the app was recently updated to reflect Google's Material Design 2.0 Standards and oh my god it's absolutely stunning. Perfect, though I suppose for western audiences an english name would be much appreciated, since I'd be able to follow your other apps better. Some sort of slight branding? Other than that this is THE app for both Chromebooks and Android Devices. 6/5 Stars Edit #2: Dude, serious kudos. I'll be recommending this software to everyone

3 ★Does not have the option to save a file (image, pdf) when share via other app. Many app supports that like solid explorer. 🙏

5 ★I found this on f-droid store and reinstalled by Google Play to write a review. This works flawlessly with root and internal storage unlike simple file manager in f-droid store that doesn't work well with root storage. I am just concerned giving it root access. Not just it , any application including greeenify. So I uninstalled greeenify but this is open source so I see it no big deal using it sometimes for root storage. Thank you and don't break out trust.

5 ★Beautiful App was trying to look for something like this since the stock files app in Oreo is ugly and I also like that it follows material 2 and has dark mode!!! One thing tho can we get an option whether to hide or show root,Internal Storage or SD(I want to hide the root tab)...the same way we can show or hide music,pictures and movies in the standard folders tab please beside that amazing app!!!

3 ★Visually amazing, but on Android 11 it can't access the Android/data folder, gives "RemoteFileSystemException"

5 ★The best Android file manager by far. I replaced the default file manager app on my phone by Material Files immediately! Material Files focuses on main features only, no "extra" feature like other apps. The material theme is simply gorgeous. And this app is open source.
