À propos de l’exposition « Irving Penn »:
L’année 2017 célèbre le centenaire de la naissance d’Irving Penn, l’un des plus grands photographes du XXe siècle. En partenariat avec le Metropolitan Museum of Art de New York, le Grand Palais rend hommage à cet artiste talentueux, célèbre pour ses photographies de personnalités majeures telles que Pablo Picasso, Yves Saint Laurent, Audrey Hepburn, Alfred Hitchcock, etc. Son travail se caractérise par une élégante simplicité et une rigueur remarquable, du studio jusqu’au tirage auquel Penn accorde un soin méticuleux. Resté fidèle à la photographie de studio, il crée, dans chaque portrait, une véritable intimité avec son modèle, qui constitue la signature d’Irving Penn.
Cette exposition est organisée par le Metropolitan Museum of Art et la Réunion des musées nationaux – Grand Palais, en collaboration avec The Irving Penn Foundation.
Elle s’organise en trois parties principales :
1-« L’EXPOSITION » : présentation de l'exposition salle par salle avec illustrations.
2- « INFORMATIONS »: programme et activités autour de l'exposition.
3-« AUDIOGUIDES » : parcours audioguidés de l’exposition
-un parcours audioguidé pour adulte en français de 30 œuvres expliquées et illustrées;
-un parcours audioguidé pour adulte en anglais de 30 œuvres expliquées et illustrées;
-un parcours audioguidé pour enfant en français de 20 œuvres expliquées et illustrées.
L'application permet également d'accéder à la billetterie de l'exposition où toutes les offres de visites et visites-ateliers sont présentées.
