Description
Edge Lighting is a nice feature on Samsung's curved edges phones. It's a very pretty and customizable way to catch your eye and to quickly identify the notification when your screen is off. Sadly, for most apps, it works only when the screen is on (good job guys!).This app allows you to get actual Edge Lighting notifications from any app while your screen is off.
Please carefully read the provided setup instructions before saying the app doesn't work. It works.
You are welcome to contact me by email for support if you don't manage to get the app working as intended, I answer every email as soon as I can.
You can also search for the app name on Google, some people have made video tutorials about it.

This app is designed for Samsung's S8, S9, S10, Note 8 and Note 9 series with Pie and OneUI.
It works with S7 and S8 series with Oreo, but custom colors aren't available.
It won't work on non-Samsung devices, unless they have a feature that works the exact same way as Samsung's Edge Lighting (but I can't see why any company would also offer such an incomplete feature).

5 ★This app is absolutely worth the price, and does exactly what it says it does. If the developer could provide a way (natively or in conjunction with Tasker) to force the Edge Lighting effect to REPEAT periodically at a fixed (or user configurable) time increment, this app would be the ultimate solution for the LED-less Samsung phones. I would gladly pay 5 times the price for the app... for my phone and my wife's... to have that additional capability.
4 ★Great app, it works as described. I only wish the name of the app didn't show up with the edge pop-up. For instance when I get a text message "Messages" comes up with the actual message and takes up a lot of space and in my opinion doesn't look good. I just want the notification, not extra information.
4 ★Great app, just small things here and there that bother me abthe entire experience. 1st of all, the UI feels locked and VERY compressed, it feels like when you scroll your fingers get stuck trying to fit them into a tight hole in the wall. 2nd of all, maybe add in a feature where it constantly shows the notification. Yes, the issue itself is fixed, but if i return to my phone id honestly never know if someone sent me a message, it only shows once, you miss it, its gone.
5 ★Thanks for putting in the effort to make this. Edge lighting not working with most apps with screen off AND lack of notification LED AND an always on display feature that stays on even in your pocket was the only pet peeve about the S10 for me. 3 ★App works well, but even after purchasing the premium version, the app is trying to contact Amazon Web Services and Google. If I'm going to give access to notifications to any app, I do not want to see that app accessing the internet. I hope the developer can explain what is going on.
2 ★Bought the ad-free version for thr custom icons because the stock arrow it used wasn't the most appealing but the "custom" icons are just standard clip art icons, I figured it would use the app icon that I was getting the notification from. I'd give this 5 stars if it was using the app icon I was getting the notification from and not a generic clip art icon.
5 ★I have used the Edge Lighting feature since my S8, but we all know that it has been half baked. I used to have to use two additional apps to fool my apps to use the feature. I have been playing around with this new app, Edge Lighting fix for all apps, and I have now retired all of my other "helper apps" as this one makes the ill behaved apps behave and Edge Lighting now works with all of my selected apps. Thanks for doing what Samsung should have done two years ago...
4 ★Works really well and fixes a major flaw in Samsung's UI. Disappointed with icon selection in the paid version. Understand the app can't include official icons, but the number of icons available is extremely limited (no sports, music, etc).Would be better if you could use icons from a downloaded icon pack.
5 ★Great to know that apart from edge lighting, it glows up the lockscreen as well if we do not want edge lighting. If we do not toggle on this app from edge lighting, then it works as a feature to normally wake up lock screens on notification... Great, hope the battery usage is minimal but cant we reply to notifications from lock screen?
4 ★The app does exactly what I downloaded it for to get edge lighting to work for messenger. How ever please update to have an option to hide the actual text of the message.
5 ★it works! but 1 thing bothers me. the colour of edge lighting is following the colour setup for this app instead of colour setup specifically for other apps. for example, the colour for this app is red n whatsapp is green. red will be displayed instead of green whenever i receive whatsapp notification. it only happen during the screen is off. 5 ★Works with Facebook Messenger thank goodness! Had zero issues getting it to work on my Note 10+ on Android 10/UI 2, for the standard edge lighting effects etc. Only thing I will be 100% keeping my eye on is any abnormal battery drain, which is a big deal to me. I can handle maybe 2-3% of battery per charge use, but anymore and it may not be worth it, but who knows. Loving it so far and it's cool factor + having edge lighting on Messenger is awesome! 5 Stars - Thanks for the app creation!
