1 ★I tried it again! This time around, I set 4 shortcuts on the clock screen and when phone was off, 2 screens of shortcuts showed up, not 4 as instructed. So I deleted all but my 4 shortcuts. When phone off, there was 4 shortcuts. Next time off, 2 rows appeared again. This kept happening. Nothing stays as saved. Home button reset to fingerprint, not what I wanted. Too many flaws!
4 ★Bought premium, and love the customization aspects of it, however, feedback. 1. Navigation bar turns white at random times 2. Edge lighting keeps going off if you don’t respond to notifications. Put option to only show edge lighting once? 3. Redundant notifications will show at top 4. Battery does not show indication of charge when on wireless pad 5. Huge battery drain 6. Could you allow us to dismiss notifications by swiping horizontally? 7. Make amoled movement more subtle please
3 ★Two things to know about this app: 1. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I thought maybe it only worked when you hit the side button to dismiss the home screen, and doesn't work when you let the screen timeout. But sometimes it works when the screen times out. So I can't figure out what's going on with that. 2. My battery will only trickle charge when the app is active. I have to turn the app off to get a fast charge. Other than those two issues, I'm happy with it.
2 ★Used to really like the app, used it for a while. But I found out just how much of a huge battery drain is it after using the AO display built into my Samsung. After 2 hours of Sammy's app battery at 94%. Two hours using this one battery at 74%! Also, they took away a core part of the app for us paid users - that being the battery charge animation - after the new update and now have to install a separate app to get it (and pay again I suppose). Doesn't seem fair to those of us who paid for the app to LOSE features!
5 ★It's such a good app. I only wish I had the option to set days as well as times for the AOD to display. If that is a feature I have not seen it. But it's got great customization. It even has battery indicators on the display options so you know how much battery your chosen option is expected to use. Very nice! I have the paid version.
2 ★I just don't understand why with every update this app gets significantly worse. Performance, responsiveness, overall functionality. I have a OnePlus 7 pro and use fingerprint for security. At least 1 out of 3 attempts to unlock ends up with the fingerprint being bypassed. My wife's phone, also a OnePlus 7 pro, has only a solid white screen when she tries to use it. What a mess.
5 ★This is very precise and helpful app in keeping one in the know of notifications, etc. while at the same time enhances your device's looks with style. I quickly received a solution to my questions about the Always On app. I'm grateful for the attention given by the developer and trust using this app will continue to be a good experience. Thank you!
5 ★The best "Always on Display" I could find for my Moto Edge 30. It has a ton of customisations, and it works perfectly. The only flaw, is when a schedule is set, because, when the "Off" hour passes, you need to manually turn AOA on again, but it's not a big deal. Edit 05/10/2023: since this morning, the edges no longer light up, and the app notifications do not appear on the lock screen. I didn't change any settings, from yesterday night. Can I ask for your help?
3 ★A bit pricey $5 for 12 months subscription. Should be a 1 time payment. Your not getting anything special for a $5 yearly subscription. To have the app working as it should the subscription is required , it's not worth the yearly subscription. Maybe someone may think it's worth spending the money. I'll gladly pay a 1 time payment for it, but not $5, that's being greedy and ripping people off. You can watch ads to get a feature but the ads don't work, only get a message saying unable to fetch ad
3 ★On older Samsung devices + 3 years it crashes addresses the phone. You can't even switch it off. But it releases after a minute and you need to restart the phone. Happens about once a week. The adverts are mostly just irritating but the tic tok one is a very hard to get out of.
2 ★it's a pity that mostly everything's getting worse with each "update"... so does AOA. Being a perfect app over years it now keeps saying "battery at zero percent" at swiping no matter what charging state, notifications not working properly since last update (icons hanging around when nothing to show), and now - "new" notification-style without any preview... 🤷🏼♂️ edit 10/2023: After updating to ANDROID 12 the AOD keeps disappearing automatically... what a mess!
4 ★Nice app... But it deactivates itself after some time, so one has to reopen the app every now and then to activate the Lockscreen display again.
