"Utsuro Nikki" is a horror game based on the concept of exchanging diaries with a hollow girl. As the protagonist, the player becomes a girl's friend, confronting her inner darkness while unraveling the mystery of her creepy diary.
The stage is school life that is common at school. Dark rooms, dimly lit corridors, and eerie music and sound effects add tension to the player.
The game progresses in the form of an exchange diary. The protagonist can obtain her girl's diary and send her his own diary. The contents of the diary are written about the girl's depressive symptoms, her internal conflicts, and experiences of strange phenomena. Depending on the player's choices and actions, the girl's state and the progress of the story will change.

3 ★good game, good art. didn't take me long to complete. though the English translation is a bit off and sometimes words like 'don't' appear as 'don ' t'
3 ★The game's story definitely is something I can get into and the art is also rather impressive. But, the English presented in the game needs some improvement due to the grammar mistakes and more. Apart from the English issue the game's visuals and storytelling is really nice.
2 ★Okie dokie, this is going to be a long and likely boring review. I am not one for visual novels, but this particular one looked so bad that it might be good. First off the whole game feels uncomplete. While the art looks really good, the story is pretty rough. I only explored the free endings, but I've got a sneaking suspision that paying for the game would not have helped. It seems like a dokie dokie rip off. There isn't any depth to the characters.
5 ★Im actually really enjoying it so far. Im not typically a type of person who likes visual novels. but after giving this a try I almost want to check out the other games by this developer. Although it isnt all fully translated, it is fully playable by someone of english speaking. I love it alot. And highly recommend downloading it ♡♡♡
4 ★It's a really cute game! From the wording and execution of it, I can already tell she's Yandere! But the reason for the 4 stars, it grammar got me somewhat confused and the options aren't as expressionate and thoughtful as I thought. Still good though.
1 ★You literally need to pay for more endings which makes the gameplay absolutely horrible. I get it you need to make money, all you need to do is a simple thing that allows a player to watch an ad for the endings. Cus you'll still get your ad money
4 ★I love the game every aspects of it,from cute normal visual novel to shivering ones.Although fix the grammar,it doesn't really affect me,it's just mildly infuriating.Will give 5 if done Edit:holy bejeezus,this is like doki doki but on mobile.It doesn't mess with game files or something like that but I just got my first big jumpscare(playing at night is a mistake).I thought it was just a little creepy but holy i didn't expect that,thanks for this devs
4 ★It's a really nice game, The voice acting for all the characters are amazing too. The only issue I have is that I have to pay to get the other routes, but overall It's nice.
4 ★I think its a good game but there are parts that are not translated, and not everybody knows Japanese, or just know some Japanese, and it's hard to understand what to do for example in the minigames
4 ★Ok so the game kinda bugged out for me and the Utsuro face was gone for the new story when I had try to push on I had hoped her face would pop back on the next slide but instead it just kept saying r over and over then the screen went black and r still kept on popping up so I just decided to close the app and restart it again this is the first time this has happened while I have been playing this game and I just wanted to let you guys know. Still a great game though
5 ★i more into Yandere horror manga and this app has all my favorites genres
3 ★The idea is really great. The story starts well.. But the behaviours of the character made me laugh more than feel anything else. The shovel part was straight up comedy. Game overall wasn't bad though. Also I should add that the main heroine va. is just spot on, perfect.
