Route the media audio to (Built-In speaker, Wired Headphones, Wired Headset (with mic), Earpiece, Aux Digital(HDMI), Bluetooth(A2DP), Bluetooth(mono), Bluetooth(mono)(dynamic), Dock(Analog), Dock(Digital)).
Route the phone call audio to (Built in Earpiece, External speaker, Bluetooth (mono), Wired Headphones, Wired Headset (with mic), Dock (Analog), Dock (Digital)

Download SoundAbout APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings

2 ★this app is working 5 minutes and after that is stop working, Pro feature solve this problem? I want to know because i want to buy this app, is help my with my smart watch, but only for 5 minutes!
4 ★Have been using this with great success with Android 7 but after upgrading to Oreo (Android 8) it no longer works. The app either crashes when launching or is stuck on the Pro Key screen. Are you going to update it to support the latest android version? I have tried reinstalling, clearing the cache and data but it just doesn't work.
5 ★Do you have a stupidly designed Samsung s5 - s7 that doesn't let ALL sound (notifications) run through your plugged in headphones or external speakers? Are ypu tired of embarassing yourself when you realize you are annoying everyone around you because Samsung loses yet another UX battle? Well, THIS GENIUS APP is the answer to your prayers (so is any android phone but, still...). An utter saint of a developer. Lets you point which specific sound you want where and when. No more missed notifications and no more disturbing everyone on your quiet train commute! Thank you, angel person!!!
2 ★Ahhh!! I'm getting something frustrated. My headphone Jack isn't working and I have no idea what I'm supposed to select so I can use aux cable. It's just constantly jumping around from wired device to wired device (mic) and phone speaker. If I select don't detect plug in OR out it automatically plays on the phone speaker...i need the music to go through the aux cables so I can listen to music from my phone in my car using a FM Transmitter!!! Stupid phone! Grrrrrr!
2 ★I'm pretty sure this is what I need to route Bluetooth headset audio (OUT)(DISABLED) and Bluetooth headset mic audio (IN)(ENABLED) to wired headset audio (OUT)(ENABLED) with microphone (IN)(DISABLED) and Phone audio (OUT) (DISABLED) and Phone microphone audio (IN) (DISABLED). Except the descriptions are not universally clear like I state in the above description. This is about the most confusing app I have ever used. Reading the labeled descriptions over and over again just makes me even more lost from when I started. What is (IN) and What is (OUT) what is (DISABLED) what is (ENABLED) and what exactly does (LET APP DECIDE) mean? Which App are we talking about, and what's it gonna decide. This app, then what's the decision or the other app and whatever it decides. Whats the difference between Wired Headset and Wired Headphones and Earphones they all both come with and without mics. What's the difference between USB and DOCK and HDMI, aren't they all the same too? Analog and Digital, really? This over complicated interface with over simplified labeling sucks dude. Sorry.
1 ★This is one rubbish app which was meant to help with a minor issue, instead it has completely taken over the phone. Nothing works properly now. "Let app decide" is a joke The headset mic doesn't work anymore. And I have to change settings every bloody time I either want to listen through headphones or the speaker. This app has permanently ruined my phone. Uninstalling it doesn't work. Factory reset doesn't work. And the biggest joke of all is I have to continue using it if I ever want to listen through headphones again. Which is almost all the time. Before this app my phone was fairly flexible. Not anymore. It's now more like some Alzheimer's suffering guy that needs prompting all the time. Major disappointment this.
5 ★I was very upset with the earphone mode...I visited 2 service centres of mi but they all told me heavy amount ₹ 8000 for fixing this ......then I checked this app ....and now finally I can listen song ... with my earphone... thanks a lot SoundAbout
2 ★DO NOT BUY IF USING ANDROID OREO. I've been using this app for several months, and it's been working great. I use it to only play notifications over headphones when they are connected. However, I just received the Android Oreo update on my Google Pixel, and the app no longer works. I'm very disappointed in this, and if the app is updated to work with Android Oreo, I will update my review.
1 ★It used to work! Something was wrong with my headphone jack so I installed this app, it worked for a while allowing me to use my headphones and my speaker, but all of a sudden it just stopped working. No matter the output, it's always playing through just my phone speaker.
4 ★Thought my headphone jack was broken. Turned out, it was just the sensor. This app made my phone audio come alive again. Thanks!
5 ★After I dropped my phone in a hot tub, my it has trouble playing audio; I can only hear phone calls when I put it through the speaker and not the earpiece, but the speaker will only play ringtones and not other media. When I used SoundAbout to tell my phone where I wanted the sound to come out, everything cleared up. As long as I have SoundAbout running silently in the background,() everything works perfectly just like it did before!
3 ★Bug: when set to "let app decide" listening to music using "pvstar" on bluetooth earphones, when somebody calls it routes the music to the speaker and CANNOT MUTE IT OR LOWER VOLUME. Allows you to manually route audio to where you want it. Its a must if your automatic detect is broken.
