Hints:
To enable USB Streaming to GROM HW simply exit the AALinQ app and run your favorite music app.
To enable GROM connect: Attach phone to GROM USB device and start any song in AALinQ
When connected to GROM via USB and Bluetooth, use route button next to time slider to switch between digital USB and Bluetooth A2DP streaming.
With GROM direct car interface the operation is simple for music tracks:
1. Disk 1 is a On-The-Go playlist. Disk 2 is the first playlist, Disk 3 is second and so on
2. Titles and cover art displayed in player in portrait in and landscape mode
3. Full control from either AALinQ or GROM. Player stays in sync with stereo all the time
Troubleshooting when used with GROM interface:
1. Make sure you have latest firmware installed from http://gromaudio.com/software-usb2.html or http://gromaudio.com/software-usb3.html
2. On older phones (2.3.x) to operate you will need to turn USB Debugging option ON (Settings->Application->Development), follow suggestions from AALinQ
3. Submit support ticket if nothing helps http://gromaudio.com/support.html
Note: AALinQ works best with GROM-USB2P, GROM-AND2 or GROM-MST3 module installed in your vehicle.

1 ★Tried it, uninstalled it. __ GEE, WHY? The second screen I opened "someone unknown" called sj wants permission into my tablet. Who is this sj and why. I disallowed and the program froze. ==>Bunch of BS if you ask me. __ I gotta ask, WHY CAN WE NOT GET THINGS IN THIS WORLD TO WORK THE WAY "WE USERS" WANT?
2 ★App either crashes or ofter does not connect to hardware even though phone Samsung Galaxy S5 reports it connected. Gets even more confused if you have bluetooth and connect via usb. Also can we have track titles on the car screen please as we can have playtime?
1 ★Obnoxious chirping noises when skipping tracks, shuffle mode spontaneously turns itself off, can't even alphabetize artist listings correctly, fails to play the first ~half-second of each track, often requires unplugging & replugging because playback just stops for no reason...overall, a remarkably poor-quality piece of software.
4 ★Works well with the Grom unit through my Honda Accord audio system. Its taken some time but eventually looks to be much more reliable. Dont have to keep unplugging the cable and reconnecting it as before. Plays all my files ok Flac Mp3 etc and sounds great.
2 ★I downloaded for 1 reason, to have a single-screen music dashboard for in the car. On Google I found some nice pretty screenshots of this app but inside it's ugly like an amateur student app and no skins or view options. The now playing screen has this stupid grey bar with 'Local' permanently covering. Couldn't find how to remove this.
4 ★BT streaming to the Grom unit plugged into the CD changer on my car using steering wheel controls. That's all I want and it's fine.
1 ★There are many things wrong with this app. The app does not have gapless playback, so every song the first 1 second is chopped off. If I receive any notifications at all, the app freezes and I must unplug and replug the phone, at which point the song starts over instead of playing from where it paused. There are duplicate songs in half of my albums that don't play, so playing an album will freeze every other song. You can't delete a song from playlists. So many issues from a proprietary app, unacceptable!
1 ★Used to connect to Grom box flawlessly until software updates created huge problems over a year ago. Since then, updates have only fixed some problems and created new ones. Frequently disconnects between songs, when I start the car, switch to radio and back to Grom, or when I get a call or text message. I have to unplug and replug my phone over and over for it to reconnect which is annoying while driving! Please fix! RE: Ok thanks for the info, looking forward to next week's update. Would be great to have this working again because it is a brilliant device when it works.
