Description
NOTICE: This app no longer works on the latest version from Samsung. I am working on a fix.This app intercepts the Bixby hardware button on the Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8 plus and will launch the Google Assistant or performs other system tasks instead.
The following task are available at this time:
- Launch Google Assistant
- Home button click
- Back button click
- Notifcations Menu
- Notifcations Menu Quick Settings
- Split Screen
- Power Menu
In order for this to work you must enable accessibility access to the "Bye Bixby" App. To do this follow the instructions in the App.
Note to Samsung USA: Removal of the ability for an app the intercept buttons via the accessibility feature in android may be a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
