This 126 km / 78 mi path (depending on the exact route you take) goes between Fort William in the south and Inverness to the northeast. It takes you along the Caledonian Canal and through the hills of the Great Glen. Along the way it passes many lochs including Scotland’s famous Loch Ness, home to one of the world’s most elusive creatures.It is a charming, contemplative journey that includes changing terrain, magnificent vistas, historic castles, ancient settlements, gorgeous lochs, and countless Munros.
