SPYRI consiste en un sistema que ayude tanto a profesores como alumnos a saber el nivel de conocimientos adquiridos a lo largo de una clase. Dicho sistema está compuesto por dos aplicaciones. Una de estas aplicaciones está destinada a ser usada por un profesor mientras que la otra es utilizada por los alumnos.El sistema que utilizará el profesor le permitirá, principalmente, enviar preguntas, problemas y cuestionarios a sus alumnos. Podrá recibir las respuestas de estos y observar unas estadísticas que le proporcionarán la información necesaria para saber si los conceptos explicados han sido comprendidos por su clase. Además, también podrá exportar e importar estos datos para poder analizarlos en otros sistemas destinados al análisis de datos. Este sistema contará con un historial de las preguntas realizadas almacenando las respuestas recibidas a cada una de ellas.
Por otro lado, la aplicación que utilizarán los alumnos les permitirá recibir las preguntas enviadas por el profesor, contestarlas y ver su progresión en cuanto a aciertos y fallos. Por supuesto, también podrán recibir las correcciones del profesor. También podrán ver un historial de todas las preguntas recibidas y su contestación.
