2 ★I use to be able to hit the edit button and choose a picture from gallery but I can't even figure out how to do that now. You have the "freestyle" option but now I gotta crop all the excess around the picture and when I do that it makes the picture quality terrible. I have been using this app for almost 7 or 8 years now and can remember when nothing had to be paid for and no ads. It saddens me that I can only give a 2 star review now but I liked when it was much less confusing and more simple.
2 ★I purchased premium specifically for the remove background feature, now that feature works few and far between. This is an essential function of premium and I am upset to have paid for an app ive been using for years just to have the one feature I paid for -- not to work more than 60% of the time and sometimes not at all. *I take pictures in a photo box with a green background it works perfectly fine when it work and when it doesnt it spinning wheel of deaths me.
1 ★I had need of a size edit for a photo. I chose PicsArt from the lengthy list of results because I remembered using it a very long, LONG time ago. Unfortunately, they have since locked everything behind a monthly subscription service. And I do mean EVERYTHING. You get a brief opportunity to create 1 (limited) photo edit. After that, whenever you try to create a new edit the paywall screen pops up & you cannot proceed without paying a monthly fee.
1 ★You need to fix this- when I used to select a photo and then hit the back button, it would take me to where i was in my photo roll. Now it makes me go back to my photos and scroll all the way back down to where i was and its infuriating. This happened with one of the recent updates, it need to go back to how it was. Edit, the ads have become so intrusive. They have the bar at the bottom of the screen when you're editing a photo and the ad always moves. At least make it a still ad
1 ★I used to love this app, used it all the time for almost every one of my art pieces. However for quite some time now, my projects WILL NOT SAVE. They will say they've been saved as a draft SOMETIMES but even if it does say it's been saved, when I try to load it up and continue my work, it doesn't load at all. Every bit of effort put into that piece, GONE, with no way of really recovering it because the "recover projects" feature doesn't do anything. It remains the same, unable to load the draft.
5 ★Believe me when I tell you! I have tried over a hundred art apps over the last 10 years! The functionality and immense variety of tools and effects are wonderful and exciting to say the least. PicsArt is hands down has enhanced as well as boosted my work. I can't express with words how using PicsArt has enriched my ongoing vision! Kudos and Thank you! Update: since my first review the bad news is that for us poor folk using this app for free is the obstrusive and intrusive ads that Upset me!
4 ★Good app...but it has its flaws. I found the the images it provides are great for thumbnails epcifically for gaming or fortnite but it is hard to use as you cannot change the cropping of the canvas so if you spend an hour editing and forget to change the canvas size your screwed. But other than that its great, no watermark, no additional costs and great free features
3 ★PicsArt does its job well, albeit with some performance problems at times. However, previously you did not need an account to use the app. The last time I attempted to use it, though, I was forced onto the sign in screen with no option to proceed otherwise, which I don't appreciate since I don't need to upload anything to PicsArt for storage purposes nor do I want to contribute to AI image generation. Edit: Never mind, the skip button is just very small
2 ★There are two functions that are HORRIBLE, those two being lasso, and collage, one of the most advertised features, lasso just doesn't work, and collage is not nearly as customizable as I would hope for from a collage function, and with how much it shoves premium in your face, you might think that more personalization might be available from it, but there is not. In conclusion, any other editing app is better than this.
1 ★i used to love this app and used the sticker feature all of the time. after this new update though, the look and format of the app is not streamlined or straightforward or user friendly at ALL. the page when looking for stickers feels very claustrophobic, and barely works. only a few stickers will load and show up at all, and even less- maybe one or two if im LUCKY will download. it usually will "download" forever and then tell me "sometjing went wrong". the app is straight up unusable now.
5 ★Using Picsart for me has been so fun throughout the years. I found the app to be easy to use and very easy to combine a number of photos together as one with just exactly what you want from each one separately. I have really tricked some people's eyes into thinking to ask "is that a real photo?" I tell them "of course it is,they all are!" Hey, I'm not really telling the truth but it's not a lie either. Have fun with Picsart and in whatever else all you people do. I know I will.
2 ★Seems somewhat ok so far but the keyboard works weird in the app with suggestive text so that's a big no for me so maybe it's ok for some but that alone is a deal breaker for something that makes you pay and not a little for a text to image feature and the keyboard doesn't work properly in app you should probably talk to your developers because that's a silly and huge problem to have imo so maybe I'll change my rating. Real glad I got a free 3 month trial and didn't pay for it.
