Fundada em 05 de agosto de 2002, a Rádio Shalom tem como mantenedora a Fundação Shalom, com a presidência do pastor José Genésio, presidente da Igreja Evangélica Assembléia de Deus de Rondonópolis.
Hoje a sede da emissora está localizada na Alameda das Camélias, esquina com a Rua Espírito Santo, Jardim Adriana. Apresenta potência de 1 mil watts e torre de 72 metros.
A Rádio Shalom tem como mantenedora a Fundação Shalom, com a presidência do pastor José Genésio, presidente da Igreja Evangélica Assembléia de Deus de Rondonópolis. o pastor externou a relevância do papel exercido pela emissora.
