Description

This Android app is a Google Maps application displaying historical markers where they can be found. The marker description is also displayed, along with the ability to view additional marker details on the HMdb.org web site.

This application also features a touring option which "speaks" the description of the marker nearest your location.

One can also search for a marker by its title, and then locate this marker on the map.

The application is packaged with a handful of states' data; additional states can be loaded by the user.

- Bookmarks allow you to associate a web page(s) with a marker. Select a marker, go to your browser and select "Share" and select HuMDuB. You will be prompted in HuMDuB to confirm. If a marker has bookmarks, a new icon is displayed on the right - touch it and the list of bookmarks is displayed. Selecting a bookmark will cause the browser to be invoked with that page.
