Description

SynTech Magnifier is an assistive technology that turns your phone's camera into an easy-to-use magnifying glass. SynTech Magnifier allows you to zoom up to 4X using a slider or your fingers. SynTech Magnifier also supports click-to-focus, which means when your image is blurry, you can click on it and your phone's camera should refocus things.


SynTech Magnifier has four modes: torch mode, photo negative mode, black-and-white mode, and pause mode. Torch mode turns on your camera flash, providing illumination in low-lighting situations. Using torch mode in conjunction with autofocus will usually improve image quality. Photo negative mode will invert all the colors in an image, which will sometimes make text easier to read. Black-and-white mode is also included for this reason. Pause mode will temporarily freeze an image.

Limitations
1) Please understand that SynTech Magnifier was designed for to be simple, fast, and lightweight. As such, it does not support image capture (but you can still save images using any screenshot applications you may already have installed).

2) While it’s possible to use torch mode in conjunction with black-and-white or photo negative mode, it’s not possible to have both black-and-white and photo negative mode simultaneously engaged.

3) Rotating the screen will exit pause mode.

SynTech Magnifier is entirely free and includes no ads. Additionally, the only required permissions are access to your phone’s camera and camera flash.
