QuintCoach Free is a music note learning software. The main features are:- learn and practice notes in treble or bass clef
- use different tonalities
- learn and practice chords given by notes or chord names
- enter notes (and chords) by a virtual keyboard
- enter notes (and chords) with your instrument by using the microphone of your device
- tune the pitch of your instrument to QuintCoach Free
- save different settings in different user profiles
To practice notes and chords, QuintCoach Free offers you direct input of notes, random presentation of notes and chords and a funny game for entering notes and chords. So the first step will be for orientation - QuintCoach Free shows the notes you play on the stave. The second step will be, that QuintCoach Free generates random notes and you must guess the right key. For orientation you will see beside the note to guess the note you have entered via the keyboard. If you are experienced enough, the third step can be made and QuintCoach Free plays with you a game, where you have to erase flying notes by entering the right key - but be careful, the keys will fly faster over time and also if you hit the wrong key they will accelerate.
If you are experienced in note identification, you can do all the steps described above with chords. QuintCoach Free shows you the chord names with the notes and later only the chord names. You enter the chords note by note with your instrument or the virtual keyboard.
With QuintCoach Free, learning notes and chords is just fun! The software supports tablet computers as well as handheld devices.
