O Câmera BH é um aplicativo para que os cidadãos de Belo Horizonte possam visualizar ao vivo as imagens das câmeras controladas pela Empresa de Transportes e Trânsito de Belo Horizonte (BHTrans). O monitoramento feito através das câmeras da BHTrans tem como prioridade auxiliar os órgãos públicos no gerenciamento da cidade de Belo Horizonte. Ao utilizar as imagens dessas câmeras, o Câmera BH tem como objetivo dar aos moradores da cidade de Belo Horizonte a possibilidade de também terem acesso a esse monitoramento via dispositivo móvel.O Câmera BH dá ao usuário a possibilidade de visualizar o trânsito em uma determinada rua, de modo que ele possa evitar congestionamento e tráfego lento.
É importante esclarecer que o Câmera BH não é vinculado à BHTrans, bem como não é um aplicativo oficial da Prefeitura de Belo Horizonte. Esse aplicativo foi feito de cidadão para cidadão.
