Description

The concept is simple, the rewards are priceless. Read a book (any book) to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler. The goal is to have read 1,000 books (yes you can repeat books) before your precious one starts kindergarten. Does it sound hard? Not really if you think about it. If you read just 1 book a night, you will have read about 365 books in a year. That is 730 books in two years and 1,095 books in three years. If you consider that most children start kindergarten at around 5 years of age, you have more time than you think (so get started).

The 1000 Books Before Kindergarten app lets parents/caregivers keep track of their children's reading activity quickly and easily.

- Scan books into your library
- Keep track of reading activity for multiple readers
- Track your progress to 1000 books!

Please note:

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★super poor app. terribly slow. hard to use
2 ★not user friendly. extremely hard to add books, find books, log it, see if you read it, multiple screens just to manually add books. very few books already "in the system". just all round clunky and leaves so much to be desired.
1 ★Hate how easy it is to delete all your progress kids touch there name and it's right there and its gone.
3 ★The app keeps shutting down when I try to add a profile picture for my daughter. I wish the default setting for ordering of books was most recent rather than alphabetical. The app runs pretty slowly too.
3 ★I love the ability to add books by searching or scanning. I love tracking our progress. The app is kinda glitchy. I would also like the ability to change the date/time when adding books, because I don't always get to adding books right when I read them, so when I do add them it looks like I read like ten books in a few minutes lol.
1 ★Absolutely not user friendly. I'll stick to tracking on paper
1 ★This app is the bane of my parenting existence. Trying to log the books is the biggest headache and so time intensive. Hate. Hate. Hate it! Please update it 😭😭😭
1 ★Very hard to use if you have multiple kids. Very few books in the library so almost always have to add them as new entries. I want to uninstall it but feel like I've already put in too much effort.
1 ★Great idea but the app is practically unusable with crashes and bugs every few minutes
3 ★It would be great if there was an option to mark a book as read at the same time as adding it to library.
