Dalam pameran karya seni Istana Kepresidenan bertajuk “17/71: Goresan Juang Kemerdekaan” pengunjung akan disuguhi dengan teknologi Realitas tertambah atau yang dalam bahasa Inggris dikenal dengan nama AR (Augmented Reality).Teknologi ini memungkinkan benda-benda maya ditambahkan atau diproyeksikan ke dalam dunia nyata untuk memperkaya informasi yang sebelumnya tidak terlihat. Dalam hal ini, maka lukisan-lukisan karya maestro seni Indonesia yang dipamerkan akan berinteraksi dengan animasi 3 dimensi yang menceritakan kisah dibalik setiap lukisan tersebut.
Pengunjung dapat merasakan interaksi langsung antara benda-benda maya dengan dunia nyata ini dengan menggunakan perangkat telepon genggam berbasis Android. Caranya adalah dengan menjalankan aplikasi berjudul Goresan Juang Kemerdekaan yang dibuat oleh Badan Ekonomi Kreatif (Bekraf)
Saat aplikasi ini dijalankan, pengunjung tinggal mengarahkan kamera telepon genggam ke arah lukisan dan mereka akan melihat informasi berupa nama pelukis, tokoh-tokoh didalam lukisan, serta latar belakang cerita dalam bentuk animasi multimedia yang mudah dipahami. Bahkan ada beberapa games kecil yang bisa dimainkan yang membuat Informasi menjadi lebih menarik, terutama untuk generasi muda yang akrab dengan teknologi di dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
Pameran karya seni lukisan Istana itu akan digelar di Galeri Nasional, Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur, Jakarta Pusat dari tanggal 2 hingga 30 Agustus 2016. Namun bagi yang belum sempat datang ke lokasi pameran tetap dapat mencoba aplikasi ini dari mana saja, walau dengan fitur yang lebih terbatas.
