Description
EasyReading (ER) és una aplicació mòbil que classifica textos segons la seva dificultat. Aquesta classificació es fa en base a la classificació europea de idiomes: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 i C2, però ha estat simplificada en A, B, C.ER està destinada a qualsevol persona amb dificultats de lectura o comprensió lectora.
Per a poder classificar els textos per nivells, ER fa ús del Machine Learning, és una branca de la Intel·ligència Artificial que permet crear programes capaços de reconèixer patrons o bé classificar en base a un aprenentatge anterior.
En el nostre cas ha fet un anàlisi previ de molts textos de diferents nivells. A partir d’aquest anàlisi es poden extreure diverses característiques que seran usades per ensenyar a l’algoritme a classificar textos. Algunes d’aquestes característiques són:
- núm paraules/frase
- núm lletres/paraula
- % verbs/frase
- verbs principals/verbs
