Description
De ondernemersvereniging Lopik behartigt sinds 1980 de gezamenlijke belangen van alle ondernemers die gevestigd zijn in de gemeente Lopik. Middenstanders, ZZp-ers en ondernemers die met hun bedrijf gevestigd zijn in de lintbebouwing of op het industrieterrein. De OVL doet dit o.a. door het organiseren van netwerkbijeenkomsten met haar leden en met omliggende ondernemersverenigingen in de Utrechtse Waarden.Daarnaast onderhoudt het bestuur van de OVL een nauw contact met de burgemeester en wethouders van de gemeente Lopik. Twee keer per jaar neemt het bestuur van de OVL ook deel aan het Economisch Platform Lopik; een geformaliseerd overleg tussen de Land- en Tuinbouworganisatie, de Ondernemersvereniging, de burgemeester als portefeuillehouder van economische zaken en de bedrijvencontactfunctionaris van de gemeente.
De OVL onderhoudt verder een nauw contact met de Kamers van Koophandel en de bedrijvenvereniging De Copen. Dit alles ter stimulering van een goed ondernemersklimaat in de gemeente Lopik.
