Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★The animation of strokes doesn't work, can anyone help? Other than that, I find the app helpful to study !
5 ★Literally everything I could ever need. Can't recommend the companion app enough!!! So much better than writing (and keeping) thousands of flash cards
5 ★Highly recommended with the book!
2 ★No flashcard setting which is the whole point. Waste of money unless this simple feature is added.
1 ★bug when i open the application, the popup photo and media permission always appear every time i opened it
4 ★Great app but it doesn't follow the method the book recommends. Keyword first, then Kanji. This only goes from Kanji then flip to keyword. It might be a simple fix in an update that can fix this. 4 stars, nearly perfect other than it doesn't follow the correct studying method the book recommends.
4 ★Please make the "clear" button in the practice tab more sensitive. It would also be useful to add a bookmark function for the lessons/kanji to more easily find where to continue. Also being able to star a kanji during testing would be useful to remember notable ones (to add to or remove from a list). Otherwise I've been using this app in conjunction with the book and it's been extremely useful in practicing what I've learned. Definitely worth the small payment :)
1 ★Stories are not included with the app, making it mostly useless. Looked around for a CSV and couldn't find it. If you want flashcards just use Anki.
4 ★The default stories from Hesig are absent for whatever reason... forcing you to punch in thousands by yourself on a phone, which will then be lost if you ever get a new device or delete app. Considering the stories are the foundation of the entire method it's an insane overlook?! I'd still say I haven't found a better app for reviewing/practicing kanji despite this though; you've just gotta have the actual book IRL or a notepad you've done this by hand or PDF to learn from then review here.
4 ★Great app. Would be way better if the devs added flick to switch between the display modes so we don't have to reach all the way to the top of the screen.
