Description

★ Top Developer (awarded 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015) ★
AI Factory's Backgammon is the best free Backgammon game on Android!

Backgammon is a game of skill and strategy; one of the world's classic parlour board games, played for recreation and gambling. Like Mahjong, Backgammon is played in social groups in coffee houses and bars. Historically, variants of this game are believed to have been played in Mesopotamia and Egypt thousands of years ago, then by the Romans and later in India. It also spread to East Asia, but was largely replaced by Xiangqi (Chinese chess). It is now very popular in the West.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★COU always wins. Gets every move it needs. After awhile, you don't even like playing because you don't stand a chance.
1 ★Too many needed rolls. I mean it cheats
2 ★With the faults that this game had, it was still the best backgammon game I had played on android. With the changes that have been made, the game is still slanted so the cpu will win, once you advance the difficulty level to "5" and beyond ... but now a lot of the fun has gone out of playing it, especially due to the contrived highlighting of the human players' dice, which necessitates the deselecting of the highlighted dice, every time you want to move the alternate dice first ...
5 ★great game to relax. I play it Everyday!
1 ★Something has changed recently. The game always hits your solo pieces most of the time but you get very few roles where you hit the games pieces. Very frustrating. This is evidenced by game stats
3 ★I suspect dice rolls are manipulated in upper levels. Altho they publish a couple statistics, we can't be sure until they publish number of rolls forcing single pieces, AND how many times they are then hit. THEN I might believe. . .
5 ★Regular updates, with better strategies, tougher levels, lifetime stats, new and easier move input, match review, match replay with unique start seed, good explanation on the probability, ... They really listen to player feedback: the recent 8th level is finally a better challenge. Still possible to beat the cpu in 2 out of 3 matches, but it with better doubling cube decisions and no more stupid moves when bearing off, it is nice for practicing.
4 ★computer wins
2 ★I just played and had a piece on the bar and needed ANYTHING BUT a 4 or a 2 to come back in. Rolled 4 & 2 three times in a row! Random rolls my a**. When you play at the highest level what changes with the AI? The only thing that can of course...the rolls get "better." The AI doesn't play more strategically, it doesn't play smarter, it only gets better rolls. Period. No matter what they say the rolls are not "random" at the higher levels.
3 ★I rolled a 4 and a 2. Both moves were clear but it refused the 4 that would take an opponents piece in my home. How arrogant to suggest I don't know the rules.
