Raspberry SSH is an Android application designed to control a device via the creation of SSH buttons. Create a button. Configure your command and press the button to execute.

If you can't work something out email me. I can probably help.

Features include...

1. Customisable buttons. Dynamically add and remove buttons. Change the text on the buttons. Add images to buttons. Change the colour of the button. Assign different commands.

2. ICMP (Ping) Monitoring. Quickly check to see if you are connected to your Raspberry Pi and that it's turned on. (Green = on, red = off and Yellow = Error).

3. Customize the appearance and create custom layouts. Change font sizes and titles.

4. Use buttons for WOL as well as SSH to wake your devices.

5. Backup your configuration and restore them to another device.

6. Display the output from your command and dismiss the output when you are ready. Turn this on and off on a per button basis.

7. Supports multiple devices or you can use "override" mode to configure all buttons to talk to one device (see app settings).

8. Command execution confirmation.

9. Strict Host Key checking. Add host keys to add additional security to your SSH connections.

10. Supports SSH keys.

11. Widgets supported.

12. Quick load of multiple configurations.

There is also a free version you can try before you buy! Search for Raspberry SSH Lite in the Play Store.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Amazing!
5 ★What cant it do?.. Widgets added is perfect. need to organise my phone to fit them now! I'm using it to reboot my pi's or shut them down. control a homemade roller door opener that can open and close 4 doors, WakeOnLan my pc's via a pi any chance of having categories/headings to split the buttons up? and being able to name the host in host monitoring?
4 ★It's a great app. However a recent update changed the appearance. Would have been nice if the update migrated my color settings. Also in 'app settings' if you add a ping host and then tap 'back', it adds a new ping box but loses the hostname. You have to go back to the top of app settings and hit close/save to save.it's not obvious that this is how to save. Either going back should auto-save, or the close/save should be duplicated at the bottom of the page. Tabbed pages of buttons would be nice to have too - I'm adding more and more buttons and its getting full. Would be nice to be able to group them. Thanks for a good and useful app!
1 ★Installed the lite version and hit the limit immediately since it onlyallows for two buttons. Bought this and was disappointed that I was notable to use my old config. Configured everything again and then it juststopped working saying that I should check to see that the server is on andconnected (which it is and also shows me). Tried with the previouslyworking Lite app and same issue there... Good when it works.
4 ★Recent update broke my custom appearance. Now it's not able to set background color of button. Text input for hex color set will be much better than guessing color with color picker. EDIT: (LATER SAME DAY) yes, it is possible to set different color for each button. But predefined colors are IMHO ugly. There should be Custom color set possibility. However buttons color differentiate is good way. Quite satisfied
5 ★Simple app, no bells and whistles. Just the way I like it. I wouldn't mind a few more button colors, and the option to have a third row of buttons but this in no way diminishes the simplicity and usability of this app.
5 ★Does what it says it will do. I am using it to turn my PiHole service on and off. Just a few minutes and I had a few buttons created and they worked great. I too would suggest the ability to group buttons. I have 2 PIs and would like to be able to group the buttons, at at least the ability to drag them around the screen. It would be cool to also create a button on the Android screen itself.
5 ★Precisely what I was looking for! Set up a service script on the Pi thengive this to the non-techie user and tell them 'Hit the start button tostart it, hit the stop button to stop it, hit the check button to check it'
4 ★Hello, I'm using your app to directly send commands to 'Heyu' (Home Automation software) on a Raspberry Pi Zero. It's very effective and easy to use. Why 4 *s ? Well more control over screen layout, button size, colours, fonts etc and position on screen would give it 5. I like the widgets BUT coloured buttons on the widgets too please.
4 ★Would be nice to have the option to set the "Widget" colours indepently.. rather than the fix red widget colour. Would also be nice to edit widget... Currently, have to delete then create new one. One more suggestion 😊 Different widget buttin styles would be handy... why not animated buttons. 😊
4 ★Does what it needs to. I REALLY Wish It Would Stop Capitalising WhenEntering A Command As Linux Is Case Sensitive And It Is Really Annoying
4 ★I like this app a lot, but I use it for more than just raspberry pi, I also use for my son's Linux desktop as well. Would be nice if you could monitor more hosts than 4
