2 ★If you loved dragon warrior 4 for the story and dialog, prepare to be disappointed. Everyone's text has been massacred to terrible translations and poor attempts at accents. Even your beloved party members' names have been changed.
5 ★It's an excellent port of a superb game. It runs at solid 30FPS, and it looks great on every modern device. The only thing I would like different is an option for horizontal play with gamepad support.

3 ★Good conversion but the second half of the game is very frustrating spending 80% of your time in random encounters which ruins the joy of adventuring.

I purchased it for nostalgia purposes and the only nostalgia now is the story, And a little bit of the music. offer a classic version and an updated version give us the choice. or I can just play the old version for free if I use an emulator how you doing
5 ★Is absolutely fantastic I was a super huge fan of the original an the dragon warrior/quest series it's what started me in to fantasy roleplaying games. Not final fantasy which is same company just not as well built
4 ★Really good. You get what you pay for but this is a quality game and easily worth 15 bucks. Only thing is I wish I had a control pad instead of a virtual joystick. It's frustrating at times but besides that solid game man. Takes me back to the old days. DQ 5 is next once I finish this.
5 ★Outside of DQ VII this is the best game in the franchise
1 ★The most boring turn based RPG I ever played. The final boss is way to difficult and unfair. Art is fine but the rest of the game is so generic and repetitive. Characters are stock and generic too. I have put 55 hours into the game 30 of them feeling like a waste of grinding that barley even feels noticeable.
5 ★The first truly story based game in the Dragon Quest franchise. This is the first game in which your side characters are actually characters. Spoiler: Before developing your Hero you will spend time getting to know and develop your side characters. Dragon Quest 3 was great, but this game far exceeds everything Dragon Quest 3 previously achieved.
