This MMORPG is a little bit different... you’ve been warned. Adventure Quest 3D is a growing online world where you can be anyone or anything you want. Battle monsters as a Mage. Change Classes anytime. Craft items, swords, and fidget spinners. Fish with friends. Or crush ‘em all in 5v5 PvP. Adopt a weird looking cat called a Moglin. And explore the vast open world as… a bush. 4 ★Edit: Im finding the game a lot more enjoyable now. its still clear that game needs work, but its nice to see active devs that care what their players have to say. i'll be upgrading to guardian when able, and am looking forward to where the game is going. My only real issue is that now by the time i get to areas further down travel list(dragon graveyard, etc) im way overpowered and it was kind of a joke running thru the quests. maybe a way to scale story difficulty to player level would be cool.
5 ★BIG points for nostalgia. I haven't seen AQ since it was a browser game in middle school. If any of the devs read this-- how often do you plan to update, and how long will you support this? I'm getting a few of my friends to download this, so I can relive good times. Controls are a little bit weird, and I wish it would lock onto enemies that attack you. But other than that I have no serious problems.
5 ★This game is awesome. Even after Max Level, there is still a lot of fun stuff to do, and challenging quests. You can play on mobile or PC. The Classes are fun, and the storylines are cool. There is one thing that's annoying: all the faces are the same. I suggest a great variety of face shapes. I also hope you guys are working on a Druid, Beastmaster, and Jester class, because that would be lit.
4 ★It is a great rpg and I have always supported artix games since a little kid, playing especially aqw. This is a amazing mobile experience that greatly surprised me. My only complaint is it can be very confusing following where to go. For example after finishinf heartwood forest I couldn't figure out where the next location was for a day. Needs quests that auto connect the next area or something.
5 ★Very fun and unique game! Only main gripe is control interface needs to be more intuitive ( be able to change button layout, etc. for mobile). Also gets a little annoying when trying to do certain parts of quests and having items disappear when other players are around going after the same thing. Other than that one of the best mmo rpgs I've played by far. Good customization, mechanics/ graphics, skills and lore.
4 ★Reminds me of the old first Adventure Quest games I played way back when just not turn based lol Haven't played much so I may be back to edit this but so far I'm loving it and it doesn't seem p2w so far everything I've seen for purchase is cosmetics or classes which you can actually still just unlock without spending money. Wouldn't mind replaying the old ones either. There is spots where if you return to like the Heartthorn forest(?) It will replay that cutscene with the chick when you enter
4 ★IM BEYOND ADDICTED! Have been playing daily. The game shows alot of promise. Only downfalls for me is the amount of difficulty it is just to get any kind of decent gear or weapons especially just starting out or new to the game. It's extremely frustrating and discourageing and I think this issue will turn alot of potential players away, it's something that's come to my mind more than a few times
2 ★Definitely a burst of nostalgia, and i like to play it, item verity is great, but the reason i give two stars is that this game lacks my favorite customization. That is class customization. I want to make the character mine, not just it's appearance. Unlockable skills or abilities. A talent or perk system. They don't even have to be complex or extensive. Just enough that i can feel that i am making my class different and personal.
5 ★Very entertaining,rewarding,satisfying,and fun game to experience. If i could give more stars i would. One suggestion if i may, i would like to be able to gain level after 29. Some of the players have really put alot of time in this game and would be cool to have something to show for it. I dont mean keep raising stats no, just so it keeps counting our experience pts earned. Thanks for a great game and keep up the good work. Book and blade! I love it
4 ★It's a legit F2P MMO. It's even cross-platform so it's PC quality gaming, which I'm super happy about since I downloaded it because my computer's broken and I needed to itch an MMO scratch. They've taken good ideas from tons of other MMOs and mashed them together into something smooth and nice. I'm currently level 7 and so far all the content has been pretty much just fetchquests and disguised grinding, but the dialogue is so charismatic it's difficult to be mad at it. Character creation has tons of hairstyles and eye/hair/skin color options, but you can't change much besides that - that being said, all armor items are visible on your character body which is frankly amazing for a mobile game. If you played AdventureQuest when it was a flash game ~10+ years ago, you'll get a healthy dosage of nostalgia - I swear, most hairstyles are the same, just 3D, and tons of old NPCs are still kickin' around. The game is actually decently difficult which forces you to team up with people and socialize, something I really miss about oldschool MMOs. Tldr; look, its probably the best free MMO experience you're gonna get on mobile. It's gonna be grindy and they're gonna ask for your money a lot for dumb stuff, but it's still a solid online RPG with a lot of love and thought put into it. If you like dabbling in F2P MMOs, it's worth a shot. I'm still going back to a paid MMO like FFXIV when my computer's getting fixed though, lol.
5 ★It's an amazing game, exactly what I was looking for. Great customization, well-animated cutscenes, and some great moments just in the beginning alone. Sadly, my phone overheats after maybe only 10-15 minutes of playtime, and it gets way to laggy to play. Once I upgrade my phone I'll try it again, but I can't play it as is.
3 ★So the new update so far, has been to say the least irritating. My internet connection has always been a little iffy recently, which has never caused any real issues just a bit of lag here and there, a few skips. But now with the update i keep getting told "No Connection" and then kicked because of unstable connection. My concern is if anyone is in a dungeon, or fighting a boss and lets say there's a storm, somthing interfering. They are kicked and dont kill the boss, lose their dungeon progress
