◆ キーボードの構成本キーボードの全体的な構成は、下部に三才（三才）を意味する数字 1、2、3が配置され, 0が配置された中央キーを中心に、4つの方向に五行のを意味する五行キー、その外側に思想（四象）を意味する4つのコーナーとその間の4つのキーを合わせて8つの陰陽キーを含む合計16個のキーで構成されている。
■ かなの配列を入力する方法
①八つの陰陽キーにあ行、か行、さ行、た行、な行、は行、ま行、ら行を配列して、い段を除くあただし、うただし、え段、お段を中央キーを除く五行キーにそれぞれ配列をした後、これら互いに組み合わせることにより、上記の8つの行のすべての文字を入力することができる。
②や行とんは、中央キーに配列をしながらあ段、う段、え段、お段キとの組み合わせで、それぞれの入力がされて、わ行の2つの文字は、あ行と重複配列をしながら下部の数字1と3の組み合わせで入力をする。
③拗音の入力はあただし、うただし、おダンキを使用して、濁音と信託統治さて、そして促音は下部の数字1、2、3キーを使用する。
⓸拗音、ん、促音の入力時、ほとんどの場合、1回のキータッチで入力をすることができる。
⓹クイック入力のための方法として頻繁に使用する単語や常用句(定型句)をあらかじめ登録をしておき呼んで来て、入力をすることができる。インポートを行う際の登録時に使用したかなを使用すると、簡単に呼び出すことができますので、この機能を効率的に使用すると、膨大な速度で入力をすることができる。
⓺片手の親指と他の手の親指/人差し指を含んでいる3本の指で入力をする別名視（三指）打法を使用すると、すばやく入力を行うことができます。

Ⅱ.環境設定 - >言語と入力 - >[アイアムウェイ日本語キーボードベータ]を選択します。
Ⅲ.注意メッセージは、元のキーボードのインストール時に浮かぶメッセージなので、[OK]を押します。
Ⅳ.文字入力が必要なすべてのアプリケーションの入力ウィンドウをクリックすると、上部の通知バーに小さなキーボードアイコンが表示されます。このとき、上部の通知バーを下にドラッグ下げると見える入力方式の選択オプションでアイエムウェイ漢字キーボードベータを選択する必要があります。このように第1段階として、環境設定（システム）の[言語と入力]で、キーボードと入力方式で選択をした後、2段階で、各アプリの[入力方式選択]で再び選択をしなければ使用が可能です。
