Humanity is on the brink of extinction. As members of an elite disease control team, you’re the only thing standing in the way of the four deadly diseases spreading across the world. You must travel the globe protecting cities, containing infections from spreading, and discovering the cure for each disease. The fate of humanity is in your hands!
Call together your team of experts, it’s time to save humanity. Each member of the team has their own set of skills to use wisely.
Recruit the Medic to quickly treat diseases, discover a cure faster with the Scientist, or stop infections from spreading with the Quarantine Specialist. 2 ★Truly enjoyed this all spring & summer, playing it almost once a day, then finally updated it after months. Not a fan of the updates. Instead of simple & clean, it is busy, over-animated, gave me a headache. Aeem to be less settings options. Stuff like cards you could see all at once now require scrolling. Same with the map, could just about see it all at once before, now can't even when zoomed out. Sharing cards wasn't even clear who had which. Too much help given on moves. Wish hadn't updated.
1 ★An absolute mess. The game was perfect until they replaced it with this rushed tablet version. They somehow managed to make the UI too bulky while also making the text eye-staining tiny. There is too much stuff blinking and moving. It's irritating. There is unnecessary clutter everywhere, like the character pieces being big faces rather than simple colored pawns. We can't see the board! There are tips and popups we can't turn off. I have yet to complete a single game since the update.
5 ★If you love the boardgame you'll love this portable play anywhere option! It's exactly like the boardgames except instead of playing with friends you run the team yourself (and it's digital obviously). Great way to satisfy the itch to eradicate the pandemic while we're in social isolation. My only complaint is that the screen could get a bit cluttered. You could zoom in and out of the board and move it around, if you were using a tablet it wouldn't be a problem. Doesn't stop me from having fun!
1 ★Improving slowly but still buggy and annoying. Sometimes crashes the tablet on exit. Sometimes forgets settings and forces one into the introductory game. Doesn't allow one to scroll or zoom to see the map when deciding whether to play a card or discard a city. This used to be great game, but is now cumbersome and annoying. It's also several times the size of the older, better, version; which is simply not acceptable.
4 ★Lots of fun, for some reason it is constantly resetting to the novice tutorial which is frustrating but otherwise just as great as the real game. Wish you could do virtual co-op
3 ★This version has a lot of improvements which are cool. But it also is quite buggy and has removed some features. For example viewing the discard pile at any time incuding and especially when there is a choice to be made. Same for scrolling the map to see where the current Hotspots are. Especially when there is a dialogue box up. Its kind of too cute by half. Still very fun to play though.
1 ★Loved this game for so long but they had to go and change it drastically. Why, just way. Were you that bored that you said let's take an amazing game everyone loves and destroy it? The visuals are way to cluttered and distracting. Doesn't look or play as easily as previous versions. Everything is slower,, less intuitive. Wish I could roll it back. Please give us a toggle to the old version or get this junk off the store. Such BS that we pay for a game the developers can destroy after.
2 ★I prefer the old version of the game. Have not played the new one since the update. Unnecessarily complex and the screen is crowded.
1 ★TRASH. ABSOLUTE TRASH. The old version got a 5. The new version has lots of cool, detailed graphics, but the game is now simply unplayable. Fire the idiot that thought this was an upgrade and bring back the old version! UPDATE: They made some improvements but the game is very buggy. Keeps reverting to demo game. If you can tolerate half of the games being pointless you can play now. Still, why not just revert to a prior, functional version? These developers are idiots.
3 ★I havent played in a while, and it looks like the app got an update. It now crashes from time to time. And when you open the game again it saved one or two turns before the game crashed.
5 ★Great game. I didn't have the previous install so only playing the new version. It works great and have no issues with game play. Love the board game and this is actually quite similar. Love the animations too. I honestly don't know why this has such a low rating?! People are just grumpy. Great job! UPDATE 8/27: still playing and LOVE it!! I love how you are able to click through the animations quickly if you want. Game play is smooth. Nice job!
1 ★Why on earth is this not online multiplayer?! Asmodee normally do such a good job with their online play. This, a multiplayer coop game ISN'T an online game. Weird.
