1 ★From good to worse. Used to play this game all the time because you can play it without being connected to the internet. Took a break from it & and came back. The whole game changed. They added perks which are good. They changed the fact that you must be connected to the internet constantly now and they removed saving. Should have made a 2nd game using the new changes instead of changing what was good about the game. Uninstalling the game. Useless to me now.
5 ★I started Day R actual years ago. it was a pretty okay survival game, but it was long and there was a lot to strive for, which I liked. now they've streamlined some things to make feedback to the player better, made a light tactical combat system, and it's just overall better. I do wish I didn't have to start over after the over haul, but I get it. If you're a returning player, now is a great time to come back, and it's a really good time to start.
3 ★No save feature like back in the day, search rates are low and you can hardly find the resources to craft stuff that you need. The new search system is fine in my opinion its just the percent rates that are ridiculous. Please just up the percents a bit and bring back the save feature. Easy and Normal difficulty should stay at that, if people want hardcore then have hard mode be the thing you work on in terms of difficulty.
4 ★I have played this game for years now, but the new version took a bunch of my progress. For example i had worked hard to unlock the blacksmithing skill and had managed to almost max it out, but since the recent leveling system was added I was stripped of all my hard earned progress and now have to work extremely hard for a good long while to get back where i was. It also took away many crafting recipes I had unlocked while playing the game.As far as performance, great game. 8/10
3 ★I used to love this game, but through all the updates, it seems to have gotten much worse. There is now barely a difference between premium and free versions. I specifically have a major problem with the fact that you can no longer manually save. In my current run, it is quite game breaking, I'm trying to get past louki but I cant because a single rat kills me in two hits( on the easiest difficulty) and the game respawns me more than 1000 km away. Please fix this so I can actually play again.
5 ★Very good game. However, their NEEDS to be a "restore purchases" button. When i first started playing their was, then i stopped for a long time because i bought a whole bunch of stuff and it didnt carry over to a new save. Some things are great, the survival aspects, the gameplay but the fact that purchased items can be lost forever if you lose your save is beyond ridiculous and needs to be addressed by the developer immediately.
5 ★very nice game. cool plot line that keeps you interested. one tip i have for new players: SAVE AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE!!! you can find locations called save point on the map. they are there for a reason. also save before you do text quests like at the destroyed ship. if you mess up you can just go back and do it again.
3 ★GET THE FREE VERSION AND SPEND YOUR 5 BUCKS ON CREDITS YOU'RE BETTER OFF. The game IS great but you don't get what you pay for with premium. It's a 5 star game but I can't give it 5 stars given the circumstances. I'll give my 5 stars to the free version to balance things out. I absolutely love this game. I got it (non premium) months back and played for a few minutes but had to stop. I wasn't expecting a game like this on mobile, a game that requires thought and strategy. So I uninstalled it for a while and recently got back into mobile gaming and decided to go premium and I'm really glad I did. This game is definitely not for everyone. It's difficult and unforgiving and requires you to make hard choices. This is the exact kind of game that's perfect for mobile but would still work great on a PC. My only gripe is the IAP. I have no issues with paying money (hence paying 5 dollars that's basically just support since you only get like $2.50 worth of your 5 dollars). My issue is what the purchases get you. Everything is temporary. And in a game as challenging as this, you're going to be tempted to spend that dollar and another and another and "just one more because I'm doing so well this run!" To buy little things like water or food. You can get all this stuff in game, but the temptation is there because the option is there. Anyway that's my only real gripe with the game. When it first came out the translations were laughably bad, and now the games dialogue and descriptions are very well written. so they clearly put the work in In a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give this game a solid 9. It would get a ten if it either had no in app purchases or if you got more bang for your buck when you did spend money. Honestly. I wish I kept the free version and just spent 5 bucks in the shop. Would have gotten me further. So I say don't buy this. Get the free one and spend 5 in credits if you like it you're better off.
5 ★I've been playing this game on and off for the past few years. Its a great way to spend 15 minutes or 3 hours. Lol. I wish I didn't die so often, I lose so much and its hard to accomplish anything for a long time after without dying again and losing more. Also.cooked food should last a little longer so I can travel with it easier. And another way to make a water filter...or more opportunities for tape/glue. Other than those few complaints, the game rocks!
5 ★One of the most well paced and engaging titles to be a premium supporter for. I played about 3+ years ago with an already great experience center but the recent updates have taken it several levels higher for me with the great intro tutorial, combat system, and quest lines. Pets are a fun plus! Support with premium if you haven't the game is fun even with the initial bonuses, still challenging! Thanks again dev team!
2 ★I've been playing this game for a few years now and the new update kinda killed it. Everything breaks too fast, rots too fast, takes more to craft. I just spend $25 on the halloween stuff used it for like 3 battles and now they're all close to breaking. I hate the daily quest instead of the log in prize (especially since it took near 6 months to get the car). Overall while it looks better the difficulty (even on normal) is just stupid.
4 ★I've been playing for years. It's still decent, but I miss the days when it was more hardcore and didn't hold your hand. When injuries sustained could permanently hinder movement speed even after healing (i.e., broken leg). I miss the injury log, too. So you could go and look at all the crazy stuff your character survived throughout their life. The story and quests definitely gained some depth, though. There's no reason to waste you money on the casino. Having premium and playing smart is enough
