A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Honestly I've used this on several phones and tablets and it's always been good. Definitely worth the upgrade to Pro if only to support the developers. I do miss the Alphabetic List style of app drawer but to be honest I've learnt to live without it. Hidden apps is still one of the most useful options. Resizing widgets really helps with arranging. And it just looks nice.
5 ★Really pleased with this version. I've now got a problem though. After my Xaomi Mi 9 updated to MIUI 11 a strange thing occurs with the dock. My Contacts+ app is supposed to be in the dock BUT even after restoring it there, after reboot or clearing memory it is removed. If I use the system launcher this doesn't happen so pointing to a problem with Apex. I hope the developer is monitoring this so that they can look in to it
2 ★Been using this for years, it WAS a great launcher. However recently with added changes or updates it hangs and bogs my phone, eventually restarting etc. I have spent a couple days of frustration tinkering around to find this causing my problem. Eventually gave up on it and moved on. Was a great 5 star launcher when it worked.
1 ★Somehow this company has decided to update their app with what should have been a beta test. It contains known issues that remove your backup settings making thw app completely a waste. The only mention of their planned "rollback" was in the app description which barely anyone reads when app update automatically. They could have made warnings pop up in the app but no - there was no attempt to notify existing users that they would be resetting the app and deleting your backups. I would avoid any company that puts out such poor quality control. This is a shame since they had an amazing launcher for so long.
1 ★Rubbish, I paid for this in 2013, now it wants £3.99 a year There are far better Launchers available for free. Don't bother with this.
5 ★Got this because it let me lock the desktop, so my clumsy fat fingers wouldn't reconfigure it on accident. Fell in love with the other features and actually paid money for it. Haven't looked back.
1 ★I have the pro version, one day I open chrome on my note 10 and it asks me if I wanted to open chrome or another browser created by the team that made apex. it had "ad" next to the name. why the heck are you showing me ads in a pro version of an app. I don't want your dumb browser and I will now be using Nova launcher because of this.
2 ★Had a major update a while ago that gave you less features. (ex: app drawer only scrolls vertically) Continues to fail me. App drawer resets it's position every time it's opened to the first page. Same issue with scrolling apps. Is not an issue with Nova, Evie or Samsung default launcher. Will be downgrading... Again.
5 ★First time in a while that a promt asking for a rating actually brought me to the store to rate it. I've used Apex launcher over 4 or 5 different devices through the years and it's always stayed consistently useful and clean looking. the gestures have always been my favorite part and the customization of the more recent updates are beautiful. Keep up the good work.
5 ★just great. been a user of one plus phones for a while and I got to love their launcher. you can quickly and easily customise this launcher to make it work just like it, so it's great now I have an iPhone I've got apex on my tablet and it's perfect, best of both wolds now. best launcher on the play store by far.
1 ★This version of Apex Launcher is a pain in the neck, the 7 folders' icons gets smaller n smaller on the home screen unlike the Apex Launcher Classic. The App drawer opens up too easily at the slightest swipe, which can be quite frustrating as apps are opened without me wanting them to and the opt out for this function does not work. I have to switch back to using classic instead. What a waste of time and money.
5 ★Been running for ages now but review prompted by new phone. Great customisation. Recommended. However, I'm finding it keeps reframing my custom icons within background boxes and loses some of my settings when there's a big version update (Samsung). All needing reverting but basically great!
