A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

4 ★Love HD widgets. But since dropping Weather Underground as an option, Ihave to use a different weather widget. Other providers are very inaccuratein my area.

2 ★Useless without weather underground. Unfortunately I will have to look for a replacement.

1 ★Rubbish, it's just unreliable now, my location is now 'none' the app doesn't even request GPS, despite being allowed via permissions. Shame this was a good app.

1 ★Wunderground gone. Please find a better alternative to AccuWeather. It's rubbish!

3 ★Used to love this app but now the only weather option is Accuweather which is terrible. I always used weather underground and now it's not available. Sad.

1 ★Removing the weather underground option sucks, the current options are terrible. Please add some other options or even a paid sub option for keeping WU's new paid API as it was the only one worth a damn and one of the main reasons why I bought HD Widgets in the first place and continue to use it. Also why remove this now when the WU link you've pasted in response to people asking clearly states the following: "Your subscriptions, and therefore access, will continue to work through 12/31/2018." ?? Please at least reinstate this as it will still work for another 3 months?? *Edit* did you read any of what I read before copy pasting the same link? Wu's own page you linked to states it's working until 31st December... Could you at least find another weather provider? Something better than the current 2 options, they're both terrible. Accuweather takes ages to load, the other one doesn't load at all.

5 ★Please stop asking for notification access, it's very annoying. Apart from this, I love the app, would give 5 stars.

2 ★It's a paid app, but "support" never responds to any emails. Some of the widgets function very strangely or inconsistently. And certain "obvious" widgets have never been created/offered.

3 ★Constantly getting clock delay (no automatic refresh) on the widget after update to 8.1 android. What should I change in settings?

5 ★Great app but they need to to offer Pixel and Pie like widget styles. Also start supporting 1440p res not just 1080p and 4k for future phones.

3 ★Losing Weather Underground was a big hit to this app. With the current selections the accuracy has dramatically decreased. A new service should be added and the app description should be modified showing the lose of Wunderground.

2 ★Limited customization. Few colors for background and text with no ability to adjust colors. Only 3 icon choices.
